Review Duolingo?

Duolingo is widely praised for its engaging, gamified approach to language learning, making it both fun and effective. Users appreciate its user-friendly interface and the variety of languages offered. The app's microlearning modules, as highlighted by TYKR, are particularly valued for their efficiency. However, some users note that while it's excellent for beginners, it may lack depth for advanced learners. Overall, Duolingo is a popular choice for those seeking an accessible and enjoyable way to learn new languages.

I'm learning Hebrew in this app. It's great! There are motivating competitions and rewards. Words and phrases from DuoLingvo stay in your head for a long time.

I've been learning German on Duolingo for a while, and it’s been pretty good for me. But when I try to practice a language I’ve learned before (like Japanese), the exercises feel too basic to really help me improve (even I’m still far from mastering it). SO I wouldn’t say it’s best way to learn a foreign language, the sentences/vocabulary taught are NOT enough when it comes to real-world situations. But still a great beginner tool to foster interest in learning another language.

I adore Duolingo! I even feel as an ambassador because some of my friends also join studying after me. What I like the most is that Duolingo constantly evolving their mechanics. So you won't be bored. I'm with Duolingo since 2016, finished Italian course twice! And now I'm also have more that half of a thousand streak. Duolingo helps me to be multilingual

Been a big fan since 2016. I enjoy the speaking component. The UX about "I can't talk right now" was chef kisses.

Duolingo does a nice job at what it promises: free, intuitive language-learning classes. I had to delete the app because of the annoying notifications - never before have I loathed such a cute mascot

I'm a strong supporter and a long-term user, forever in love with the brand, the mascot and the playful and hilarious tone of voice. I've been enjoying Duolingo's French course for about a year now and while I would (and have) highly recommend it, I've seen some drastic changes which pushed me away as a premium subscriber. I.g. I'm really missing audio lessons with Paul and Estel, and the learning "tree" instead of "path" which it used to be. I'm still a user, though, and I'm still very excited about the product and the people behind it!

Fun, engaging, and surprisingly effective for daily language learning. Makes practice feel like a game — and I’m proud to have a 636-day streak!

My co-founder Zero and I learning Japanese from Duolingo (600+ & 1000+ day streaks for us respectively). It was only until we realized what Duolingo was missing for us to embark on this journey to make the best language learning platform!
