Scrimba is awesome and they literally breath life into the concept of active learning. The interactive/live video-IDE interface is so novel, I've never seen it anywhere before. My course, Frontend Developer, has been greatly paced so far and the exercises really let you get in there to play with the code.
I have seen so many bootcamps, but none have made me build my own till now, but scrimba did. Thank you, I got AI Engineering Certification also, and I'm soon waiting for the full stack development course.
In the early days of my frontend development journey, I faced a number of challenges. I tried several paid courses on platforms like Udemy, but many of them felt like “tutorial hell” — too passive, and lacking in real hands-on experience. That changed when I discovered Scrimba. Scrimba completely transformed how I approached learning frontend development. The platform’s combination of bite-sized explanations and interactive mini-projects helped me not just learn concepts but actually apply them. The built-in scrim feature allowing you to write and run code directly in the browser was a game changer for me. It made the learning process seamless and engaging. Thanks to Scrimba, I was able to build a solid foundation in frontend development with much more ease and confidence. I’m now looking forward to their upcoming Fullstack Development course, launching on April 14th and I couldn’t be more excited to continue the journey.
The best learning experience i've ever had ! I've tried multiple courses (udemy, private, books, youtube...) and i get bored quickly...here everything finaly stick and it's fun(Instructors, projects...) and engaging. Community is awesome, what else can i say, this is the future of learning. I'm loving it so much !
Using it since 2020 🙌🏼 One of the best interactive platform to learn development.
✨Scrimba has been a tremendous help for me. I’ve always believed that small details can make a big difference and that learning a new skill isn’t just about earning more money. Scrimba came into my life at a challenging time and brought me a lot of joy. I laughed a lot while learning. The Scrimba team has a unique vibe. Starting with Tom, who is incredibly witty and always knows the right thing to say to lift your spirits during Town Halls. Bob has an extraordinary way of teaching things from a fresh perspective. He has a rare talent for breaking down complex topics and making them simple and easy to understand. Micha’s calm and serene way of speaking is comforting, even in awkward moments. Rafid stands out for his curiosity and determination to dig deeper and uncover the root of things, as well as his ability to empathize without judgment. Alana always brings motivation and freshness through the newsletters. And of course, there’s Per, “the hook.” He was like my coding “Hello World.” Finding his course on FreeCodeCamp was a decisive moment that led me to Scrimba and made me take learning to code more seriously—but in a relaxed and enjoyable way. His chill, witty, straightforward, and fun teaching style really stood out and was unlike any instructor I’d heard before. I must admit, he left me wanting more in the Front End Career Path (and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way!). Lastly, kudos to the rest of the Scrimba team who give the platform its special charm. Although I like the new Scrimba boot logo (and I really like the Scrimba logo), I’m casting my vote for Pumpkin to make a comeback 😺!
It's the best interactive learning platform. It helped me getting better in coding. Also, their interactive technology made me practice the code during the lessons.
