Do they races against friends have to be live? Could I record a time one day, and challenge friends to try and beat my time over the next few days? If I was accepting a challenge like that, to beat a friends previous time, will I see their icon on the map as I ride? That kind of asynchronous challenge would be great, since syncing up schedules is complicated. It would also remove time zone barriers in the community.

@mvaughn25 Oh cool idea, our existing version is just real-time racing, but I think your suggestion is great because it can remove time barrier especially in different countries. Surely will consider this to develop our next versions. Thank you so much!

Have you considered a recumbent bicycle version? I have a bad back and this would be great is a recumbent configuration.

@mvaughn25 Yeah we did consider a recumbent bike, we initially launch the 1st version with upright bike & see the market reaction. Following, there will be more versions as recumbent bike or even treadmill...

The bike looks nice. Love simple design. Btw, I never good at racing outdoor, but indoor is a good idea. Avoid traffic, weather, smog is more encouraging.

@anh_tuyet Hi, the Velo's seat height range is from 35.4'' to 41.3'' (from the ground) which absolutely fit your height. We pretty sure you will feel comfortable with Velo.

Love the aesthetics, and this is a ridiculously good deal! 2 questions: 1. will you launch before Christmas? 2. when you show your cycling locations in the app, is there a "roadview" instead of a topdown "mapview"?

Is there going to be features on the included 17" tablet missing if you are using the app on say and iPad?

My concern about smart devices or devices that interact with apps is the lifespan of the app vs the product. Is their any guarantee for for how long the app would be supported or services behind the app will remain active? Some other stationary bikes have different pedals such as clip on, will there be any variations to peddles available? Will you be able to control the settings, tension from the app and will the app be aware of tension settings for when you race? For those of us less social will you be able to race yourself? Will there be multi user settings for people with more than one person using the bike? Not sure if it's been asked but will the social and smart features require a subscription?

I enjoy cycling. It is a great alternative to get cardio and strength training on days when I don't feel like going out to the gym or outside. What is more, I can get to know new friends, feel motivated and have fun!! Love this idea

Brilliant! As I always lose motivation for doing exercises, just eager at the 1st time and then give up :( Many times…so I think if someone compete with me, I can sharp my body quickly or at least lose a few pounds

My friend suggests this new product to me as he has bought a smartdesk from Autonomous and rated 5 stars. I have tried that smartdesk too. It’s friendly-user, sturdy and durable so I believe in Velo quality too. Good points are fully adjustable bike from foothold to seat, don't take up much spaces, connect with Velo app to track progress and race with the world!! Can't think of any negative comment
