Some That Made me go Wow! Others made me LoL
... brought me across some products that made me go "Wow!" and others that made me laugh out loud. One of my favorites today? Dad Reply. Yes, you read that right a Chrome extension designed for those never-ending email threads where all you really need to send is an acknowledgment. The product description says it all: "Dad Reply is the Chrome extension that lets you respond to emails with the universal symbol of low-effort acknowledgment a emoji. Just click ... ... button and it auto-replies to the currently open email with a single thumbs up. No typing. Maximum Dad energy." https://www.producthunt.com/post... It s such a simple yet genius way to close a long thread

Is your SaaS already out there? Are you sure?
... makers! Just launched Already ( https://already.dev ) - because finding out your biggest threat exists only after spending months building is soul-crushing. The problem: Google shows you 10% of your actual competition. The other 90%? Hidden in app stores, Reddit threads, indie hacker forums, and startup graveyards you'll never find manually. What we built: An AI that acts like 100 researchers working in parallel. Give us your idea in plain English, and in 4 minutes we'll surface: Direct competitors

Restrictive Reddit's move: is blocking archive posts protecting users or censoring history?
... think Reddit is doing the right thing. Comment from Helga Razinkova(@helga_impalpable): @busmark_w_nika  Fair enough Anyway, I don't see blocking and archiving old data as a solution. I agree with Aleksandar that those old threads are a treasure trove of wisdom at the time - it could be really great to look through such staff and draw specific parallels/compare those approaches and ideas with today's trends, etc. History must be respected :) Comment from Helga Razinkova ... ... People really trust info published on Reddit, and as a redditor myself I consider it a great source. About 80% of redditors don't use any other social media, which makes this platform unique. I still see quite old threads

Launching Aiarty Video Enhancer: A Faster, Optimized Alternative to Bloated AI Video Upscalers
... After seeing countless best AI video upscaler or best AI video enhancer threads across Reddit and YouTube, we noticed a pattern: people aren t just chasing raw power - they want something that s lightweight, practical, and actually usable. Most of the time, you re choosing between: Free or open-source tools that are clunky and inconsistent Or premium software like Topaz - powerful, yes, but also heavy, slow on many machines, and pricey for most users And when people say best ...

What’s your favorite social platform in 2025?
... means, but Kurzgesagt has been a fantastic way for me to actually get complex topics across to kids, my older parents, spouse, etc. It's pretty entertaining and makes me feel like I'm actually doing something productive vs. getting entertained. NetworkChuck is like Bill Nye the Science Guy but for Networking. Veritasium is excellent as well for just learning about the physical world, Mark Rober is similar but more entertaining in application. I also watched stuff like Good Work ... ... creators thats really polished and thoughtful. I do unsubscribe pretty fast though. Many people get famous too fast and quickly copy the "popular persona". It's why I can't get onboard with TikTok or Instagram. Might give Threads

ROI on Product Hunt
... value out of this platform? For those who've launched: How many people are actually following through with feedback, beta testing, or staying in contact long term? Are those 10-20% of people worth it? For those active in threads: How do you get value? How often does the scratch my back and I'll scratch yours exchange actually take place/help? Are you just here to scroll? If you come here looking for an answer, how much time ... ... spend looking for it before you go to the next platform? Is reddit the alternative

Lessons from finishing #1 on a day two products passed 1,000 upvotes - for the first time in 2025
... asset within hours. Learning (run as a rapid-fire experiment): Karpathy s Cursor for Slides tweet wasn t just hype fuel we treated it as a live copy test. By monitoring how users echoed the phrase in replies, Slack threads, and DMs, we saw message-market fit in real time. Within hours we rolled the analogy into our tagline, hero copy, and comment replies. Result: higher click-through and fewer So what does it do? questions. Lesson: borrow the language ... ... focused on getting it right previews of decks built in Chronicle user quotes. Hook, proof, invite . What didn't work 1. Cold-posting in new communities. Advice on how to get threads approved more on Product Hunt?
... always aim to raise topics and questions relevant to startups/products and my personal endeavors that others might relate to. The threads usually start with an intro to the topic, my experience, and, lastly, ask others to share their experiences. I try to structure these parts into clear, error-free sections so that they are easy to read. I have never used AI, for what it's worth. To be honest, the posting guideline that is provided ... ... that detailed. It leaves a ton of room for whoever reviewing to approve/reject however way they see fit. Currently, out of 10 threads

How do you promote your startup across social media if you are just starting?

I ve realized how hard it is to promote something when you re just starting and don't have an audience yet. If you don t have a big following or a budget, what worked for you?
