StorySpark Makes Writing Stories Fun
... also build ideas. If you don't know what kind of stories you want to write, a few keywords and ideas can help you come up with plans for short stories, video scripts, and even full multi-chapter novels. Inside the project manager, I've created a world builder, character builder, and even plot builder. These help you really develop your story and bring it to life. By making sure everything in the project is always taken into consideration ... ... similarities to what you're writing. Once you're happy with everything on the project page, a single click generates the full story, with multiple length options to choose from and even the ability to outline chapters for full novels

What Makes "Good" Content?
... clearly define your target audience: Who are they? What's their knowledge level? What market are they in? What kind of content do they usually consume? What content actually works for them? This is essentially user profiling combined with competitor analysis. Back when we were creating educational content, we'd put a ton of effort into user interviews, benchmarking against others, and even using a PBL (Project-Based Learning) approach to constantly refine our content structure ... ... work, but it really paid off. Let Go of the "Masterpiece" Obsession. We often tend to equate "good content" with some grand, sweeping narrative: an epic movie, a hefty novel

Is building in public losing its value?
... first, it was novel. It gave us a real look into what it takes to build a clothing brand, a tech product, or a service business. It built loyalty, connection, and people appreciated the honesty. But now it feels like everyone has to do it, like it s an obligation. Feeds are flooded with MRR screenshots and day 37 of building X, and it s harder to tell what s authentic. Curious what it s been like for others. Have ...

What do everyday users actually want AI to do next?
... guys, I've been thinking about this and wanted to get your take on it. ChatGPT broke AI into the mainstream, but now that the novelty has worn off what are everyday (non-tech) users actually asking for? When non-tech people think about AI are they wanting AI to handle their emails, manage their schedules or something completely different? From the conversations I've had, it seems like most people use ChatGPT and see the potential ...

I feel like all the apps that have been launching on Product Hunt are just GPT wrappers
... wrapper with a shiny UI and a slightly different niche. Don t get me wrong some are genuinely useful but the signal-to-noise ratio is getting rough. It s like we re stuck in this loop of micro-novelty: same backend, different coat of paint. I m really hoping we start seeing more products that push actual boundaries stuff that thinks beyond prompt engineering and starts solving problems we didn't even know we needed solved. Curious if others ...

I decide what's featured on the leaderboard - AMA w/ Gabe from Product Hunt
... works, I would. I love supporting makers and demoing products. I actually try to test every single thing that gets hunted every day... which is A TON .  But I view our job as to surface the most interesting, novel, useful, and innovative products - daily. Now we may not always get it right, the process isn't perfect, but we're trying to do right by the community. Hopefully, you've noticed that over the past months the quality ... ... seen Product is waitlisted People schedule a draft.... (we have a draft function!) Maker's profile is their product/business and not an actual user account Tagline does not describe the product ie. "Best way to earn users" vs

Best books for founders that aren't "business" books
... What are the best books you've read that help you in your work, but aren't necessarily 'business' books? I'm reading Imperium by Robert Harris, a historical novel about the life of Ancient Roman statesman, Cicero, and it's an incredible insight into communication, strategy and creativity. ... morning, creating and refining a "not-to-do list" for 2021. And it's created a clear picture of what I shouldn't pursue to maximize chance of the startup. Here's the list 1. Don't write a novel (So many ideas...) 2. Don't practice basketball (Already on a crazy plan to work out) 3. Don't try to read too many book (It's better to 100% understand a worthy book at this point ...

As founders and makers, do you take care of your mental health?
... control every 1 hr of my day to maximize productivity. Wake up at 5:30, meditate, work, learn programming, work some more, write a novel, and run a family with 1 kid coming. You could say I'm hyper productive, but I know many of you have a lot more on your plate. As founders and makers, what do you do to make sure your sanity is kept in check ...
