I created a Google Sheets add‑on 5+ years ago and it is still #1 for data cleaning
... launched a REST API for automation and integration. You can now automate data cleansing tasks, schedule jobs or embed Flookup functions in other applications. Why it works Flookup gives users control over match logic: choose percentage thresholds, sound vs semantic, best match or next matches and scale to thousands of rows with enterprise grade performance. Thousands of businesses trust Flookup daily. Use cases Cleaning email lists before sending marketing campaigns Reconciling CRM records or product catalogues Extracting address data ... ... normalising

Is interacting with AI characters becoming the norm for you? (Your POV)
... real friends are more likely to spend their time outside. :) Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @jordansvision  Of course, there is that trend. Even AI avatars earn way more than "regular" people. Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @vshpandey96  I think it is probable that we will have relationships with AI. I have already been in such a Discord where people discussed these things, how they flirt with AI :D But can see sense in AI avatars ... ... still need some messiness and unpredictability that comes with human connection. Watching how naturally younger people engage with AI characters is fascinating (I'm 22, but still.) AI doesn t feel like tech to the younger generation, just a normal

I Built My First Raycast Extension. Here's How I Did It!
... after a day of hacking alongside Cursor, I had a rough MVP. It took me about a week to polish and submit it to the Raycast store. If I didn t have to work, or parent, or be a normal human I feel like I could have gotten it up in 3 days. I can t say this enough but Warp really surprised me by making improvements I hadn t thought of, making little things I wish I could change ... ... Warp the model is also auto (Claude 4 Sonnet) but the planning phase is o3. My theory is that a lot of documentation referenced git commands and using a CLI, that it was easier for Warp to execute vs

Will Perplexity "overshadow" OpenAI?
... today that Perplexity is trying to dominate the Indian market, which could potentially increase the number of users (and thus compete with OpenAI). Perplexity is trying to attract more users by offering a free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription normally worth $200 to all 360 million Airtel subscribers. (That is the cost for them.) Do you think @Perplexity is doing it right? Because the catch is monetisation the purchasing power of India is simply not the purchasing power ... ... American market. What strategy do you think would help them increase not only the number of users but also their profit? I am attaching the current revenues for both (OpenAI vs

Skype closed down - here are top 6 Skype alternatives for international calls
... life disappeared. It felt the same way as if, one day, nobody would be playing on Call of Duty 2 servers anymore (that hasn t happened yet, right?). Anyway, here I ve compiled a list of the top 6 alternatives to Skype for international calling. I used the following criteria to select them: VoIP-based . That means I only need an internet connection to use the service. Calls from most SIMs abroad are prohibitively expensive, and eSIMs typically include only ... ... analytics dashboard. That s a helpful feature if you have a lot of no-answer calls and you want to analyze what s going wrong. Best for: individuals and teams who want a simple, powerful, and flexible alternative

Does an AI based social network make sense (And would you use it?)
... already AI-generated. On IG, YT, FB, TikTok, X and LI too. Are you already fed up with the AI trend? Or will the AI-social media concept prevail in the coming decades and be perceived as a normal part of our lives? Last question: How do you see the whole thing around the OpenAI social media network? [I think the next generations will be as familiar with this development as we are with the internet now. Completely normal

We just launched a free Facebook Ads benchmarking tool
... Until now marketers have had to guess what's a normal CPC, CPM or CTR in their niche. There's no real public information available. So we decided to fix this. Here's our public free Facebook Ads benchmarking tool . It's based on real data, not some marketer's best guess from 2017. It's built on an anonymized data set of $2B+ of Facebook Ads ad spend. All data is fully aggregated and anonymized You can currently select ... ... long tail. The best ads drive disproportionately good results. These outliers can inflate a simple average, making it less representative of what most advertisers actually experience. So we decided to display median values, instead of averages. re: Facebook vs

What's the best personal finance app?
... anyone who would buy it. I want more than what my bank offers but this space seems surprisingly quiet unless I am hiding under a rock. What's everyone using for personal finance? At minimum, I want: All the normal budgeting, account views, dashboards, etc. To see trends over time on category spend, expenses, income, net worth Integrates via Plaid to all banks Doesn't sell my data to credit card companies To pay a monthly fee in exchange ... ... What's your Replit "vibe coding" workflow? (I'm struggling here...)
... agent and when to use assistant. Replit shows how the agent is more expensive than the assistant, which stressed me out a bit. Although I realized I never hit the threshold where it started charging me more than my normal subscription. So I think it was just a psychological thing. It had repeated errors around web socket connections and dealing with notifications on iOS. I had to get deeper and deeper into these myself, and in one case, teach ... ... next week or for Agent that should see significant improvements by default, but some additional context that might be helpful to you: 1. Memories are cool, memories with friends would be even cooler
... Memories seem like such a killer feature of @Windsurf to me. I normally find the AI composed code is mostly right but it can often still get small things wrong because it might not know some architectural detail or the coding style I want. But with memories I can now tell windsurf about those things and avoid those mistakes! I can also do it on the fly, making it easy to iteratively adapt Windsurf to my code.
