Why I f*cking hate big tech screwing "small tech" over.

First off, what sickens me to the fucking bones is when companies like Google, Amazon, X, Meta, etc screw up small tech companies. One notable example of this is Musk raising API costs ridiculously high and Reddit following Xs footsteps. I used to be just fine with Elon Musk, although I have no respect for him no more after doing shit to these sites that couldn't afford excessively high costs on APIs. The scary reality is Google and Amazon could ruin thousands of these tiny SaaS products if they wanted to. For example, Firebase is cheap as shit, but in a blink of a God damn eye that could change. Unfortunately, normal people don't give a shit about anything that doesn't evolve around themselves or possibly their peers. I know you may be saying "normal people don't exist", but that's totally false. If you look around at all, do you not see a pattern in the people of society? Well look damn it. Normal people follow things called trends. Now here's a question. Do you care about small tech and if not why the fuck not?
