Why Does Every Productivity System Feel Like More Work?
I just tried to "optimize my workflow." Here’s what happened:
Researched the best task managers → Spent an hour reading comparisons.
Picked Notion → Spent three hours setting it up.
Added a habit tracker → Spent another two hours customizing it.
Set goals → Overcomplicated them into 27 micro-tasks.
Got overwhelmed → Closed Notion.
Somewhere along the way, being productive became a full-time job.
What’s one ‘productivity hack’ that completely backfired on you?

Tried doing a ‘morning routine’ with journaling, meditation, stretching, planning, etc. It took so long I didn’t even want to start my actual workday.
Put away the phone and the laptop for several hours 😅
