What do you do when you suddenly come up with a great idea?

For me, there are usually four steps: 1. Record it immediately: I typically jot it down in Apple Notes, either using voice or text. 2. Sleep on it: let the idea settle overnight. 3. Reassess in the morning: If it still seems like a great idea, I'll discuss it with trusted friends. 4. Take action or prioritize: Either put it into practice or add it to my to-do list. What about you?

I would also write it down first. And then I might search this idea on Google to see if others have explored similar concepts and how do they implemented these similar ideas, what worked, what didn’t.

@focusaur Both.

Write it down and put it on the shelf. Circle back to that idea after a week – let's discuss with friends and ChatGPT.

@busmark_w_nika Oh, and GhatGPT as well!

@zhiqi_shi yes, when you do not have such business (real) community around you, you need to help yourself somehow :D

Scribble it on a diary (the old school pen and paper way).

Great process! I also jot down ideas right away and revisit them later. If they still seem good, I plan next steps or share for feedback.

Share it immediately! Then you know if it is even worth thinking about it more. Quick validation.

I will immediately design this product and then calm down for the next two days. After two days, I am still excited about my idea and will develop it

I ask my members of my WhatsApp groups what they think of the idea, usually by posting a poll. I operate hundreds of them to facilitate virtual business networking.
