Free Trial or Not Free Trial?

As we prepare for our next launch (April 10th), after winning Product of the Day and Product of the Week last year, we’re facing a key decision.

With our new AI-powered features, our product has reached a whole new level, and we want to ride the wave of this launch, especially from a lead gen perspective.

The question now is:

➡️ Free Trial – Offering a direct link (not currently on our website) for users to test the platform for free for a week, likely increasing lead volume.
➡️ Demo Request – Keeping only the existing demo request form with our sales team, ensuring higher-quality leads.

Quality? Quantity? Or Both?

Any advice? 🚀

I would test the free trial and then reach out to them to observe what made them purchase/not purchase.

Which will help you learn more? The trade-off is that demos tend to talk to fewer people, but they're higher intent, and you learn more from them. For a free trial, you might be able to see a lot more users go through your funnel and use the platform, and you'll see what they do, but it will be harder to understand why.
