Greetings Hunters! Typeform has always been driven by one idea: creating human-centric data collection tools. Forms are pivotal for first-party data collection and Typeform has always led the way in redefining what forms ‘could be’. So what if forms could actually behave more like a human? Today we're launching Formless into open Beta and invite all product hunters to try it out. Imagine not just asking your audience questions but having an interactive conversation. Formless isn’t just another form; it’s a dynamic exchange. Why Formless is a Game Changer... **Dynamic Conversations** Beyond posing questions, Formless responds in real-time to your audience’s queries. A genuine conversation ensures you gather information while also addressing any concerns your respondents might have. ** Simplicity in Training the AI** Guide the AI using specific instructions or merely point it to a website. It’s that intuitive. ** Barrier-free Communication** Don’t be held back by language. Whether your audience speaks Japanese or French, Formless effortlessly converses in their tongue, ensuring a natural and seamless interaction. We’re buzzing with excitement to see how Formless reshapes your audience interactions. Can't wait to see what you build. Would love you valuable feedback!

@okuiux congrats. this is very interesting. I am curious, did you guys validate this need? who needs this? what segment are you going to target to get off the ground for marketing?
David OKuniev
@ardalan_pouyabahar Formless came out of TypeformLabs in which we were experimenting with new ways of presenting forms. So we're taking a bet here. Our primary target is marketers but also recruiters.
David OKuniev
@brendanciccone I could not reproduce that. In fact it gave me "Oh, I see we have a prehistoric pup! Unfortunately, our competition is only open to real dog breeds. Can you please provide the breed of your dog?" Could be in your case the model just did not pick it up properly. It can happen. Hopefully as the models get better these outliers will be reduced. Thanks.

it's good, getting context to the next question, but too long and not getting download of incomplete data were some of the early issues

Super excited about Formless! It’s guiding the user intuitively through the questions + ai analysis of the results from the get go! That’s just perfect and saving up so much time! Go go, David and team! ❤️❤️❤️

Been lucky enough to get beta access to Formless and I've been loving it. It's such a refreshingly easy way to build really engaging user forms.

@okuiux Congrats on the launch! It's impressive, and I definitely agree with what you are going to realize. Traditional forms are something for before the LLM era! Today, we have LLM, so there is no need to force the user to do the work of dividing the information into the form desired by the inquirer. Answers in the free form will contain more information!

Looks slick! And cool video :)

its an interesting idea n i ll love to see how it grows. just one question. when there's a form, we know that there's n end. but with chat type of interface, hwd we know when its gonna finish?
David OKuniev
@naveed_rehman There is a progress bar at the top. When you create a a conversation on formless you specify the key info you want to collect. The form will guide you through each step until it completes all it's requirements. That said, even if the respondent drops out halfway, partial data is collected.

@anna_branquinho1 Hi Anna. Thanks for the shoutout. Documents are on the roadmap, however as a workaround, you could just paster the document contents into a google doc and then import it via the URL feature

Launching soon!
Congrats on the launch @okuiux !!! I've been following Typeform for quite a long time now and am constantly amazed by the simplicity of the designs on all of your rollouts (core offering setting the standard). We've seen a lot of macro-level AI products coming into the space to help folks... "create their whole business with AI / build your whole marketing campaign and all your imagery and copy with the click of a button" It is really neat to see a niched down approach that doesn't over promise and under deliver and fits really tightly into the Typeform stack. I am curious about a few things: - What segment of your user base do you feel this product will be most useful for? (bonus points for a more niche answer) - How you decided on the LLM to use / how are you attempting to forecast the usage vs billing quandary? Again - love the rollout and as always, I am very impressed by the products coming out of your camp!

Wow this looks awesome, congrats on the launch! Have two questions here: 1) Is it available for free? 2) Can I embed it into an email? And if so, what are the options?
