To commit myself to more practice, I've been looking for an app that gives me daily prompts for drawing, like I like to use for journaling. With the Sketch A Day app, I found not only daily prompts but also a kind community of artists. Love it!

While I treat this app like a game, it has helped my art grow over the year. Sketching a day is a goal, however, artists can pick a prompt and complete an artwork a week if preferred. I've managed one 30+ day run in a year. I highly recommend trying this challenge.

I love art even though I never thought I could draw anything. I am in no way an artist but just someone who has learned that you can do anything you set your mind to do. Sketch a day has challenged me to keep trying, and I have grown because of that. This app allows you to see art in every form imaginable. I never feel any way but good when I am in this app everyone is so supportive. there tutorials have t taught me so much and it is great to be offered good art supplies at a discount. Thanks sketch a day and thanks Tom for making an app that made this ol' gal even try.

Hi, I made this app to get my mum and wife to start drawing again. They're both really artistic but always say "I don't know what to draw and haven't got time." Started marketing it by going on Instagram bothering artists to try our app. We used to get 10 submissions on a good day, and now it's over 1000. Still developing it and adding new features. Still running it on a shoestring!

This application helps me a lot, having a social anxiety is not easy. Drawing is my best outlet to ease my mind. It gives me satisfaction and happiness. Through this app, I find myself falling in love again in art.

Greetings, I'm one of the members of Sketch a Day and I sure have to say that this application has helped me a lot improving myself. Of course I'm not a master at drawing by far, but with the fact of drawing something with a topic, it's a quite simple way to improve yourself, I started on the 1st of January 2020 (left around 15th of January and returned around july, I forgot when exactly), and I passed from horrible trash that barely passed as a drawing, but now, even though I still don't draw what I would consider great digital drawing, I'm happy with what I draw and I hope Sketch a Day and I improve ourselves overtime, even once when I lost my streak due to a glitch, a moderator helped me restore it and hopefully they fixed the glitch because I wouldn't want anybody else to suffer that. Great application overall, and if you just started drawing or want to have topics to make drawings of, this is your place! Thank you for reading, Okuos Sapiens.

This app and the community it built around is an excellent medium for artist to level up their skills and confidence. Everyone is really nice and up-lifting. I found a lot of amazing styles that inspired me and it simply helps me to keep on drawing.

I started using sketch a day app about an year ago, now I have so much grown up in my painting skills. The unique community of people and daily prompts, very much needed for every artist to grow.. I found it in this app! One other bonus is the tutorial page... I love trying new ideas posted there.. Highly recommended app for any level artist (even a non-artist too)

I've always wanted to have a creative outlet, but never pushed myself to follow up on it. A few years ago I started drawing from a really helpful beginners book, but only dabbled. Since using Sketch a Day I've turned it into a daily habit, and it's helped push me to try and draw out of my comfort zone (with mixed results haha). I would highly recommend it, and it has the most positive, supportive community, no matter your experience level. A little bit of daily positivity to get you through some challenging times!

I love how this app gives you a prompt to draw with, and gather inspiration from what others have drawn. You get up to 7 drawing prompts ahead of time to ponder "what will i draw next?" The ideas are endless!!

Hello! Just wanted to say this app is amazing! It actually got me doodling again after a long time of not doing so because of work, time, lazyness, excuses etc. I decided to give it a try one day, just one doodle a day in my sketchbook using the prompts generated by the app and as time passed by I ended up doodling daily or at least 3 times a week (on a very busy week) as a little reward at the end of the day to unwind and let me tell you, it has worked like wonders... I'm back to doodling and getting better at it. I'm so happy for the existence of this app! 😁 100% recommended! 💙✨

I love this app, it has a really lovely and supportive community. It's so fun to post pictures of my artwork and get lots of replies and hearts complementing it. It definitely encourages me to draw more, which is great!

This app has been great for me to give me the little boost I need each day to keep consistent in my art. The community is very fun and supportive.

This is the only thing that has gotten me to hold any kind of daily sketch routine for any significant length of time. My longest streak was 3 months. I appreciate the app so much I even went and upgraded to premium which I rarely do for mobile apps.

It's not just an app (although it's one of the most comfortable apps with fantastically ergonomic design I ever used) but there's extremely friendly community. You know I just can't imagine my life without Sketch a Day and its community. I'm addicted to to draw/paint everyday! Sometimes I'm very creative, sometimes it's just a brute-force sketching😂 But it's obvious that I make my progress day by day. Huge thanks to Tom Hicks!👏

Sketch a Day is really a very good app. I like drawing but due to busy schedule or procrastination I sometimes don't find any idea to what to draw but sketch a day helped me with this. The simple prompts help me to come up with unique ideas to make artwork. Also seeing the work of the community it really motivates me to think of other artistic means as well rather than just sketching or painting.

I'm grateful for having this app! It really motivates me to draw every day. Thanks!
