I wanted to add a screenshot and annotate it, but impossible to do. You can only paste it (hence the name...).

So, yes it's beautiful, but very limited on the use cases.

Pros:

Easy to use

Really beautiful

Cons:

Too limited

Fᴀʀʜᴀᴅ

Basically markdown for visuals

Pros:

Simple & efficient, let's you focus on content and flow

Cons:

Would be great to see a version for personal use - this thing could explode for group planning, etc.

so pretty I wanna touch it

I hate to be a downer here, but I tried the product because I am a HUGE fan of their older products but this is nothing special. I dont know or understand the value prop other than shadows on images automatically .. the default slides are a little nice looking but thats pretty much it. How can I help ?

No idea how to use it but it looks amazing. Wow, these guys know design..

Thanks for checking out Paste! As with Paper, we ended up building a tool that we needed for everyday work. Like most creative teams, we have a constant need to share work for feedback and to generally get the team on the same page. We found ourselves wasting too much time sending files back and forth and fighting with the tools to present our work to one another. Meanwhile, team messaging with Slack has changed not just how we as a company communicate, but how we work together. Paste combines the ease and openness of messaging with the visual world we live in for a fast, flexible way to engage your team with your ideas. Take Paste for a spin and let us know what you think.

It's still amazing to see the level of craft and thoughtfulness in software design that FiftyThree applies to it's products. It seems like this quality is never common place.

Beautiful design!

Helps align our entire Product team on what we are building and why.

Pros:

Beautiful bespoke creative decks on the fly.

Cons:

None.

Our team has been using Paste to align around what we are building and why. It has changed the conversation with engineers and designers alike. Also @asallen and @georgpetschnigg are the best! They actively integrate feedback from our team and are really building something special here.
Andy
@jdsimcoe Thanks for being an early supporter, and keep the ideas coming!

@asallen @jdsimcoe Speaking of ideas, how about an InVision integration, that would make it way easier for our designers to keep everything up to date. 1. Design in Sketch 2. Publish to InVision 3. Audience consumes vision + designs through Paste made accessible by Slack 4. A subset (developers) get details by diving into InVision's Inspect mode Lot's of touchpoints but everything can be maintained by two processes. 1. PM building decks in Paste 2. Designers publishing Sketch designs into InVision Not a hard transition for a team especially when many of us already are onboard with #2 Food for thought :)
@asallen @enklt That sounds cool! You can embed some links currently with Paste... we've embedded Live Figma documents into Paste decks.
