They are the single largest source of motivation I believe. ESOP policy should be employee friendly which helps to create long-term wealth for everyone.
For me, paid sick leaves and a good number of vacation days are must-haves. I also appreciate it when companies offer to pay for learning courses related to the job!
I think in today's hiring market a benefits package is mandatory to attract and hire talented employees. The benefit of perks is a factor in considering whether to accept a job offer.
