I'm reading the book "Building a Story Brand." and it has dramatically expanded my knowledge of marketing. Do you have recommendations on what to read next about marketing?

Hi guys, We're building a social networking app for meeting new people around the world. B2C SaaS. We have ~1.000 paid subscribers and still can't understand the customers' internal problem. Why do they want to meet new people globally? In an internal survey, those who paid said they're looking for friendship, relationships, meeting new people, and discovering new languages and cultures. Most of them are single. I can't understand the persona of these customers and what an internal problem they have. Maybe they're bored with local people and looking for someone abroad? Any thoughts?
