@kaustumbh7@vincentropy I'd ask PH about the average traffic from the mainpage or a newsletter. I remember that once when considering paid promotion we've asked PH about these metrics and they provided us with them!
To have a successful product hunt launch you probably spent a lot of time engaging with the right communities. Both on PH and elsewhere.
Just keep doing that.
Find out where your users spend time and bring value to them.
This discussion space is a great way to promote the product after the PH launch. Just connect your product benefit with the question people are asking. Be transparent. Tell them that you are working for that company, but here is how it can help!
It's a long-term game we have to play day by day.
Yeah, it's a bit tricky @srimisra only. We tried replicating the viral posts and found success. So, we made a list of sub reddits and message templates you can try on reddit.

Partnerships, blogging, email outreach, podcast, and affiliates. Good to mix in a variety of things that can get immediate results, vs things that will bring traffic over time.
We're going to launch on Product Hunt for the first time soon, but our product has been out for 5 years now and we've been doing the above to grow it.
Some things that helped us
- Reach out to the community
- Have the PH badge on your landing page
- Start a discussion
- Hold a webinar during the launch
- Promote on social channels
After the Product Hunt launch, promote your product through various channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, influencer collaborations, partnerships, and targeted ads. Leverage user feedback and testimonials to build credibility and engage with your community consistently. Keep the momentum going by creating valuable content and staying active on relevant platforms to attract and retain users.
We had a great product hunt launch last week. In the same boat - figuring out what's next.
1. Write to existing users about the launch and celebration
2. Write to new PH users on the celebration and ask for their feedback
3. Write on LinkedIn
4. Write on Twitter
5. Write blog posts outlining the launch
6. Start/comment/engage in PH discussions (like this one)
7. List your product at betalist, betapage, polywork and other directories
8. If you have pricing and can offer lifetime deal, checkout appsumo and similar listing sites
9. Work with your current users to identify where they hangout apart from PH
10. Send out cold emails to your ideal users - you never know when they might be looking for your product or service (don't spam)
Thanks for discussing this important topic! Promoting a product after a Product Hunt launch is crucial for sustained success. Consider leveraging social media, reaching out to influencers, and exploring collaborations. I'd love to hear more about your specific project and exchange ideas. Let's connect on Product Hunt to delve deeper into effective strategies!
Social media can really help you keep boosting your product. I would especially recommend taking advantage of short-form videos on Instagram Reels or TikTok to help keep the attention.
1. promote your product on PH to get huge amount of impressions very quickly, but it might cost you extra money.
2. if you have strong connections, find influencers on PH/other social media to help with upvoting your product.
