For me, if I'm working from home, going out and working from a cafe or library is very effective. In addition, when I clarify and list the things to do, it seems more complete and it becomes easier to take action.
I write down one or two simple tasks that I want to get done, then go take a break for a while. Usually when I return, I feel more motivated to tackle the task at hand since I've had time to consider it and it's no longer as daunting.
Split your day into quarters. Morning, Afternoon, Evening, & Night. Just because you messed up one quarter doesn't mean all other quarters have to be bad. I like to treat each quarter as a fresh start if I messed up a previous quarter.
Physical activity can help to reduce stress and improve focus. Even a quick walk or stretching break can help to clear your mind and refocus your energy.
Lol when you wake up in the mornig, immediately work on the hardest, most important task(s) of the day. As long as you get a solid two hours of work in, you are most likely going to have a productive day
