Yes, why not? If the member of my team is passionate enough, he/she can work remotely. But it is always important to have enough dedication to work, at the end of the day.
Our entire team is remote, working across continents! To make it work, Discord and Slack are irreplaceable
Vlad Zivkovic
@atik_hossain I prefer Discord.
@vladimir_zivkovic I owe my life to Discord :P
Amulya Prasad
Our team at Neverinstall works from the office. But we can opt to work remotely whenever we need that headspace
Vlad Zivkovic
@amulya_prasad That's cool!
Launching soon!
Our whole team works remotely. Some good practices we follow about remote work: 1) Weekly team meeting. A mandate. Probably, by the beginning of the week. 2) Regular catch-up calls every day with team members as need be. 3) A public sheet where everyone gets to share their work. So everyone knows what's happening and feels inspired.

@senthil99nathan Really good organization!
Mark Pavlyukovskyy
Yes, our entire team works remotely
Marilena Nikou
yes, we all have a flexible schedule
Vlad Zivkovic
@marilena_n It's good to be flexible.
Kavita
Our entire team works remotely. Some of the things we do: - Make sure we are always communicating asynchronously (overcommunicate when in doubt). Things like end of day work summaries on Slack are useful to keep everyone on track. - Two weekly check-ins with the team to touch base on goals for the week and progress made so far. - Embrace having a flexible schedule. We focus on output delivered rather than 'hours online'.
Vlad Zivkovic
@kkavita I love that "output delivered"!
Alexandre Mouriec
At Crisp, half the team is fully remote, and the other half works from an office in Nantes (France) or remotely. We can work remotely whenever and wherever we want. We have no meetings and try to work async as much as possible to offer the most focused time possible
Vlad Zivkovic
@mrcalexandre Yes that's the best solution, give freedom of choice.
Erkin Bek
Our entire team is based remotely in almost every continent, but we work around New York from 8am to 12am, the rest of the time we choose when to work. We have various team-building activities, play various online games, communicate in Slack, have times when we can randomly "have a coffee" with a colleague and many other activities.
Vlad Zivkovic
@erkin_bek Awesome, timing is crucial.
Alexey Anshakov
After COVID, our team members work exclusively remotely.
Julien Fayad
Fully remote too, that was caused by Covid (we kept a lease for an empty office for a year...) we never went back to an office "yet" and we don't have immediate plan to do it
Vlad Zivkovic
@julien_fayad Covid changed work forever.
Axel Wikner
@julien_fayad The silver lining of the pandemic for sure.
Arbaaz
Our team at https://www.bigbinary.com/ is working remotely since a decade and that was our competitive advantage pre-covid hiring https://www.bigbinary.com/books/...
Vlad Zivkovic
@arbaazio Awesome, lot's of remote experience!
Olatz Urrutia
We have a flexible schedule, but I normally work remotly since I live 3h from office
Vlad Zivkovic
@olatz_urrutia That's reasonable.
Hassan Muazzam
Yes, all the team members work remotely and I think it's very beneficial for my team members.
Vlad Zivkovic
@hassanmuazzam That's good!
John Carmichael
Fully remote team... I keep reading in some publications that remote does not work, but, so far so good for us. Only made possible by good data structure for the org and transparency with Atlassian and Google tools... basically all data is in "the cloud".
Vlad Zivkovic
@john_carmichael Yeah now days everything is cloud so teams can be as well :)
Our entire team is remote! The major reason for it is being a bootstrapped startup we are able to save a lot on funds.
Vlad Zivkovic
@kaustumbh7 Remote is a big money saver!
Janusz Mirowski
We are working in the Office 4 days to be exact and 1 one day remote. Only people from different cities work remotely. And we truly believe and see that working in one office is helping us to be more connected and creative! Of course, I see many benefits of working from home, but this is my list of benefits of working from the office when you have a good team and manager: 1. Improved collaboration and teamwork. 2. Clear and effective communication. 3. Stronger professional relationships. 4. Access to specialized resources. 5. Mentorship and professional development. 6. Better work-life balance. 7. Networking opportunities. 8. Structured routine for increased productivity.
Vlad Zivkovic
@janusz_mirowski Everyone have different perspective, I also like office sometimes, it gives the feeling of collaboration like no other remote software tool.
Shajedul Karim
hey Vladimir, it's always an enriching experience to work remotely. the notion of place becomes a function of time, and your office transforms into a global playground, melting away geographical limitations. one practice i've found to be a game changer is establishing a 'digital commute'. this is essentially a routine to signal the beginning and end of the workday, like a short walk or a meditation session. it helps create a clear boundary between work and personal time, even when both happen in the same space. communication becomes paramount in a remote setting, so fostering an open, asynchronous communication culture has been instrumental. this respects diverse time zones and work styles, while ensuring everyone stays on the same page. finally, nurturing social connections is essential in a remote team. virtual coffee breaks, team hangouts, and sharing non-work related content help humanize the digital workspace and create a sense of community. how about you and your team? would love to hear about your remote work practices. best, Karim
Vlad Zivkovic
@shajedulkarim_ Communication is the most important!
Dogyun Jeong
Our entire team works remotely across continents! It is fantastic benefits for team and individuals too
Charlotte Chiang
We're fully remote, though there's a small hub where many of us live and get to work together. I think it's super important to keep in mind that what you think is 'enough' in terms of communication, is almost never enough. I'm constantly reminding myself to invest the effort in 'over-communicating': repeating a message in meetings, in documentation, in Slack, and wherever else...just to make sure it doesn't get missed.
Vlad Zivkovic
@charmandro That's a good point!
