Work ethic: Do you think a 4-day work week will bring efficiency?
... working hours), and home office is a privilege. I personally see it as a very expensive way of functioning at work, especially when unpaid travel is a waste of time and money. So I am pretty lucky to be remote because I can dedicate time to work instead of travelling and am more focused. Comment from Ajay Sahoo(@ajay27324): @busmark_w_nika  I have been granted this schedule for 10 months now, the resultant factors i just came across ... ... Comment from Rodrigo Beckmann(@rodrigo_beckmann): I m personally not a fan of the 4-day week, in many cases, it just squeezes the same workload into fewer days, which can be more exhausting. I think flexible hours and remote

Reach the US TikTok, from anywhere, without getting shadowbanned
... launched TokPortal, a platform that lets you conquer foreign audiences on TikTok remotely ( USA, UK, Canada ). Reaching foreign markets organically on TikTok (especially the U.S.) used to be a nightmare. The available solutions were either unstable (VPNs often detected by TikTok, leading to shadowbans) or downright absurd (mobile proxies giving access to one device for $100+/month). Even ditching organic for Ads doesn t solve the issue: non-US businesses can t natively target the U.S. on TikTok Ads unless ... ... strict about it. Bottom line: short-form video is a goldmine especially when AI speeds up production but there was no scalable solution to distribute content locally. Now with TokPortal, you can easily create real TikTok accounts and remotely

How do you communicate daily when your whole team is remote?
... safely say that working remotely brings a special kind of challenge. It sounds ideal until no one knows what the others are doing and progress feels... fuzzy. From what I ve seen, the best system is short, daily 15-minute standups. Each person says three things : / What s their big focus for the day b/ What they did yesterday c/ Where they re blocked (and who might help) That way, everyone stays in sync. No guessing, no drifting ... ... also learned the hard way: No meetings = no momentum. Curious how other remote

Would you hire someone who has multiple jobs at once?
... several startups at the same time, had the best interview results, but according to his employers, he never delivered results. (You can comprehend it from these tweets, e.g. 1 , 2 ) Ultimately, this reveals, for example, the weaknesses of remote work or that HR/management can be fooled. What is your opinion on such a thing like hiring the same person for more than 1 project? My 2 cents: I like working on multiple projects because I get to meet different people ... ... smaller YC companies. Comment from Nikoloz Turazashvili(@turazashvili): If he didn't deliver results why he wasn't fired? Comment from Manny O(@mannyojigbo): @kaustubhkatdare this is the best response I ve seen. The whole reveals the weakness of remote
