Today, even as Signal, WhatsApp, iMessage, Android messenger, Zoom, and other products build in end-to-end encryption and other privacy features (like expiring messages), few to no privacy-first options exist for the 1 billion people using collaboration platforms on the web. We've seen a few key use cases for Skiff: 1. People who love privacy (like our team) and use Signal, ProtonMail, and other privacy-first products want a collaboration product for notes, working together, and personal work (like tracking finances) 2.
