Hi again Product Hunt 👋, super excited to bring Ignition out of beta and share v1.0 with all of you! We built Ignition to help Product leaders and Product Marketers to better collaborate and build more repeatable, effective go-to-market processes for new products and features. Launches are fragmented, chaotic, and cost companies millions when products flop. My cofounder and I have launched 100’s of products at PlayStation, Rippling, Meta, and startups and have seen firsthand how deep market insights, a consistent planning motion, and tight coordination between product and GTM teams unlock effective go-to-market that helps products stand out and get adopted. But most teams really struggle to create that alignment because tool fragmentation creates information silos where plans are disconnected from context, and communication is more reactive than proactive. Product lives in one tool, Product Marketing doesn’t have *any* tools, and it’s incredibly hard for both of them to push info to Sales, Success, and Execs. We solve that at Ignition with a single platform that unifies Product and GTM work. 🔍 Research & Insights — automatically collect and monitor competitive intelligence, conduct customer research, and build a knowledge base of reusable personas. 💡 Product Management — collect product ideas with voting boards, build visual roadmaps, and communicate releases with changelogs and seamless GTM handoffs. 🚀 Go-to-Market — instantly generate best-practice based GTM plans with Copilot AI, and create a single source of truth for plans, timelines, assets, and tasks. 📣 Internal Comms Automation — automate internal briefings and status updates with “pulse” updates that let you push modular updates to stakeholders via email and Slack. 🧠 Embedded AI — use integrated GPT-3 workflows to generate copy across key launch assets, summarize insights, and create strategic GTM documentation. Would love to hear what you all think (and your launch horror stories)! P.S. Ignition’s got a generous free plan, but as a special Product Hunt bonus, upgrading to a paid plan this month gets you unlimited usage through March!

Hey guys! Take my congrats on the recent launch of the Product Hunt! 🎉 I love the name of the project ♥️. Ignition sounds really great. When I read this I caught myself on thought about space, spaceships, and the future 🚀. I also like space gray colors in the design. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the logo. As for me, it's not so informative. In the matter of functionality, you are quite similar to JIRA and Target Process. What is your killer feature? How are you going to overcome them?
Karthik Suresh
@denis_galka Thanks Denis! We're not an engineering project management platform like Jira. In fact, we integrate with Jira and most of the project/task management software. From a product management perspective, you can think of us as an end-to-end product lifecycle management platform to collect product ideas with voting boards, build visual roadmaps, and communicate releases with changelogs and seamless GTM handoffs. Task management /tracking engineering tasks from Jira is just one feature. There are several killer features. The one I like the most is the automated go-to-market plan creation powered by our proprietary AI co-pilot along with stakeholder management. Give it a spin and let us know which feature you love the most!

@karthik_suresh2 Thank you for answering. Looks good. It seems like Ignition is an all-in-one solution that fits any startup. Go ahead!

Congrats on the launch! Curious at what stage of company growth you see people get the most value out of a tool like this?
Jamasen Rodriguez
@stedmanblake We're seeing a good mix of company stages with heavy usage on the edges. Many small solo-product marketers and founders use Ignition to get go-to-market structure right from the beginning. While we also have many companies over 1K employees empowering their entire product marketing team with Ignition - planning over 100 launches a year! 🤯

@stedmanblake Thanks Stedman! We kind of see a couple very distinct segments of audience, each with slightly different focus areas in the product. Our sweet spot is kind of companies that just went through their first growth inflection and are starting to scale, adding sales, launching more things, etc. (so, companies that recently crossed the ~50-100 employee mark). But, we have a ton of very small teams and solo marketers who use us as well for our research and release notes tools or for planning their initial company launch. We also have some very very large enterprise teams using us for the massive stakeholder alignment needs that come along with a large org.
