First of all would like to say we’re incredibly humbled to be in front of you today.
Bots have not delivered on their promise to give users great experiences, with NLP/tree-diagrams and the like.
Surveying is the only function that bots can perform better than any other interface. Imagine going into a restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, or the like--and being asked to take a survey about your experience with that store’s Facebook Messenger bot. This can be a great experience: it’s far less friction than going to a web link, the business can give you coupons or other gifts for completing the survey, and they can use your information to help craft a better experience for you over time.
For web products and web businesses, we have an on-site widget that you can use to ask your users anything, like their experience on your site, why they took certain actions, abandoned their cart, etc.
Forms stink for surveying, we think the conversation is where bots truly shine. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts and feedback.
