Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I was frustrated switching between ChatGPT, notes, and terminals — so I built Znote, an all-in-one space to:

- Continue ChatGPT conversations directly inside your notes
- Keep a separate AI context per note
- Automate with code, data, and visualizations
- Work without subscriptions or vendor lock-in

Znote brings together:
🧠 AI (ChatGPT, Claude, local via Ollama)
📝 Markdown note-taking
🧪 Executable code blocks (JS, Bash)
📊 Dynamic charts & reports
🎙️ Audio recording & meeting transcripts
⚡ All local-first and private by design

Plug in your own API key (pay-as-you-go) or use local models — no cloud required.

@anthony_lagrede Congratulations on launching Znote, Anthony!
The ability to continue ChatGPT conversations directly within your notes is a fantastic feature (loved it).
One suggestion for improvement would be to consider adding collaboration features, allowing multiple users to contribute to the same note in real-time.
Wishing you the best of luck with Znote!!!

Anthony Lagrede

@shadmannazim Thank you so much! 🙏

Really glad you enjoyed the “continue ChatGPT in your notes” feature. It’s been a game-changer for me too.

And yes, real-time collaboration is definitely on my radar 😊. It’s on the roadmap!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion and your kind words! 🚀

Can’t wait to try this product.
I was tired of constantly copying and pasting between ChatGPT and my notes, and having to switch tabs every two minutes. Looking forward to testing it!

Great idea ! congratulations on your project and best of luck for what’s next!

Anthony Lagrede

@melvin_ducret Thank you! 🙏

That’s exactly the problem I wanted to solve: no more tab-switching, just seamless thinking in one place. Hope you enjoy using Znote! And don’t hesitate to share your thoughts once you've tried it. Every bit helps me improve it further. 😊

This is seriously impressive, Anthony — Znote feels like the dream workspace for devs, researchers, and anyone tired of flipping between tools. The per-note AI context is such a smart idea — something most chat-based tools don’t support but feels so natural in a note-taking workflow.

Also love the local-first approach with Ollama + pay-as-you-go API key support — you’re giving users real control and privacy. 🎯

Quick thought: Have you considered letting users share read-only notes with embedded outputs (e.g., charts + AI responses) for reporting or blogging use cases?

Congrats on the launch — this definitely deserves attention! 🚀

Anthony Lagrede

@williamrobertscott Thank you so much, William! That means a lot! 🙏

You're exactly the kind of person I built Znote for: someone juggling ideas, code, and AI, but wanting one place to work in context.

And yes, you're absolutely right about sharing, there’s already a whole section in Znote dedicated to read-only sharing, with embedded outputs like charts, code results, and AI responses. You can export to PDF, HTML, or even publish notes online via a built-in cloud sharing service, perfect for collaborating with teams or sharing insights publicly.

I really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and support.

Let’s stay in touch, and congrats on Elisi too, love what you’re building there 💡

Just wanted to say great job, Anthony, on Znote . I’ve been following your work and this release really impressed me. Super curious to try out the new features you're planning to roll into the app. Keep it up!
Anthony Lagrede

@massimiliano_spedito Thank you so much! ❤️

I’m constantly adding new features and refining the experience — and if there’s anything you feel is missing, you can contribute directly to the roadmap! There’s a link inside the app to suggest ideas or request features. I’m paying close attention to all feedback. Really appreciate the support! 😊

Glad you liked the clean and focused design. Really appreciate your support!

Tim Walling

Congrats on the launch! What are some of the most surprising use cases you've seen people use Znote for?

Anthony Lagrede

@twalling Thank you Tim! 🙏

One of the most surprising (and honestly fun) use cases I’ve seen: people using Znote to continue ChatGPT conversations for worldbuilding or RPG campaigns, with each note acting like a “scene” with its own persistent AI memory. 🧙‍♂️🎲

Others use it to prototype APIs or automate data reports directly inside their notes — thanks to the executable code blocks and local AI integrations. One person even plugged in Ollama to create a fully offline assistant for medical research summaries. 🤯

It’s been amazing to see how creatively people use the "note-as-a-context" model. Still discovering new ones every day!

Jun Shen

Excited for integrated notes and AI chats! 👍

@shenjun Thanks a lot, Jun! 🙌

Really glad you're excited. It is really game changer for notes. 😊

@kay_arkain  Thank you! 😊

Brian Wambui

Fantastic launch! I've been looking for a better way to combine ideation and AI assistance without breaking my writing flow. Znote nails that. All the best moving forward!

Anthony Lagrede

@brian_wambui Thank you so much! That means a lot 🙌

Glad Znote help you. Appreciate the kind words and support!

Richard Smit

Anthony, thanks for a great product. Best thing for me is having a local running LLM. Even offline getting the answers I need. And no more data sharing with AI models online. Great job.
