If you've been looking for a replacement for Skitch, this is for you. CloudApp is what I use to make GIFs (all day), and now they've added native screenshot annotations right form the menu bar.
CloudApp's been adding integrations left and right, learn more in the company's blog post here: https://www.getcloudapp.com/blog...
I get asked multiple times a week how to make GIFs, and CloudApp is the easiest way to do that (among other things). ๐ซ
As a product manager, I'm a huggee fan of CloudApp. I use the app multiple times a day to communicate with internal stakeholders, customers, and my teams.
Highly, highly recommend you give CloudApp a try if you need to communicate visually.
Hi all! -- Weโre thrilled to share CloudApp Annotate with the Product Hunt community! Annotate makes it easier to explain bugs, workflows, markup any screen and give better feedback to your team (and the native Mac annotation is 300% faster compared to our web-based version) ๐
The backstory: a few months ago we acquired Annotate (formerly known as Glui.me) from Drift, which was a brilliantly developed app and had very similar functionality to Skitch. Upon reaching out to Drift I learned that CloudApp user, David Cancel (@dcancel) CEO at Drift was open to bringing Annotate into the CloudApp family. Drift did an amazing job evolving Annotate into an impressively designed Mac AND iOS App which are both now part of the CloudApp family.
With Annotate now integrated, CloudApp picks up where Skitch and other products left off.
We've been heads-down here to get Annotate out the door and are super excited to share this release. Expect a ton of updates and integrations coming shortly.
Feel free to shoot over any feedback directly or send in feature requests (feedback@getcloudapp.com). The CloudApp team is listening (@CloudApp) and moving as fast as possible.
Our vision is workflow and productivity acceleration - bringing the future of work to every desktop. And of course more GIFs in the workplace! ๐๐
Thanks for the hunt, Niv!
We're really excited to finally be bringing our Annotate integration to our main app. We've been using it internally for a while now, and it has radically changed our workflow, increasing the speed with which we can communicate.
Our Annotate feature sits on top of an already robust product, and it integrates seamlessly. CMD-Shift-A to take a screenshot as you already know how, and open the editor right away before anything is uploaded.
If you guys have any question, I'll be more than happy to answer it below.
We believe this update is a great one, and you'll love it as much as we do.
