Hey PH 👋🏼, I'm Yassine, the founder behind yawb.io, the expandable website builder! There are so many website builders out there, it's overwhelming. Nevertheless, yawb.io (Yet Another Website Builder) is different and I tried to solve some major pain points that other platforms have:

It's expandable

What do I mean by expandable? In yawb.io, everything is a block. You drag them on the page and customize them. Expandable here means that you can create your own blocks, share them, download them and upload them. Blocks can be built using the popular Liquid templating engine so you can build really unique experiences. If there is no block for something you're trying to achieve, you can make it yourself. We also provide documentation and tools to help you get started building your own blocks. If you do not want to code, no worries, creating your own blocks is for advanced users. yawb.io is a no-code tool that can be used by anyone, it's really that easy and user-friendly.

It's highly customizable

Blocks can not only be customized by changing the text or layout, but you can actually style any element in the page the way you want it. It's called the Click Customizer. You simply click on any element in the page and you're presented with options to customize the color, font, background, dimensions, etc. You have full control over the look and feel of your website.

Export your website in one click

With a single click, yawb.io will generate a ZIP file that contains all the resources of your website. It includes the HTML pages, CSS assets, Javascript assets and images you've uploaded. This means that you can build your website or landing pages and host them on your own infrastructure if you wish. It can't get easier than that.

Seriously, it's not normal that platforms like SquareSpace charge super high monthly subscriptions for something as simple as hosting a portfolio or a restaurant website. When you think about it, these platforms charge those fees to keep up with the gazillions of dollars they spend on sponsoring random Youtube videos and celebrity endorsements. yawb.io has an always free plan and if you want to go pro, it's just 5$/month. It has all the other stuff that any modern website builder has Of course, it supports SEO, integrations, SSL certificates, a wide variety of templates (and even more are being built), animations, etc.

I love the self-awareness and the critique of existing platforms that you make. The templates look reasonably nice, and the platform seems powerful enough for most basic websites. I'm really happy to see that you can export to the sites you make! So rare to see that vital feature nowadays. I will say that I don't love the aesthetic of the website itself, but that doesn't really matter as long as the product works well. You might get more people to check it out though if it looked better.
