Hey PH! 👋 I’m one of the makers of Wobo, and we’re excited (and a little nervous) to finally launch our new AI Resume Builder. A few months ago, we built a tool that helped people apply to jobs automatically. A lot of folks got interviews, some even landed roles—but many still heard back with silence or rejections. The frustrating part? It often happened before a human ever saw their resume. After digging in, we realized the problem: most resumes weren’t optimized for ATS filters, lacked strong framing, or missed crucial keywords. So we spent the last 5 months building something smarter. 🎯 What’s new: • ✍️ AI-powered rewrite suggestions using STAR/PAR framing • 🔍 24-point analysis to spot weaknesses and boost clarity • 📄 100% ATS-friendly templates (seriously, recruiters helped us test them) • ✅ Instant, actionable feedback to fix your resume right now 🆓 To celebrate our PH launch, we’ve increased free credits so everyone can try it, no paywall, no tricks. 🎁 Bonus for PH: First 20 users can use code PH15 for 15% off any paid plan. (Yep, just 20!) Would love to hear your feedback, questions, or even resume horror stories. We’re still improving this daily and your input really helps. Thanks for checking us out! 🙏

@serdaraksoy  Good job!

Amy

@serdaraksoy well done 👍 Looks good

Mike

@serdaraksoy  good luck with launch!

Amy

Really impressed with how far this tool has come. I know their old resume builder, it was not that good. The resume templates are simple and clean (would love to see a few more visual variations down the line), but the real standout is the AI feedbacks. Suggestions felt tailored, not generic and it caught issues I honestly hadn’t noticed, like fuzzy metrics and inconsistent phrasing. One of the more thoughtful resume tools I’ve tried so far.

Good luck with launch 🚀

Hi Amy, @amy45

Really appreciate you taking the time to write this — and being so honest about the old version 😅

We knew we had to level up massively, and it means a lot to hear that the new AI feedback stood out for you. You nailed exactly what we were going for: specific, actionable suggestions that feel personal, not generic.

More template variety is definitely on our roadmap — you’re not the first to mention it, and we hear you loud and clear. Thank you again for the support 🙏

I’ve tried a bunch of resume tools before like Zety, Rezi, even ChatGPT but Wobo’s new builder has honestly been the most helpful so far. It doesn’t just put your info into a nice template; it actually gives suggestions that match your role and what you’re trying to highlight.

I used it to improve some of my existing bullet points and asked for help writing new ones around leadership and data analysis. The suggestions were clear, relevant, and felt way more polished than what I had before. The resume analysis also pointed out things I missed, like vague phrasing or formatting issues.

It’s free to try, which is great and overall just feels like a more thoughtful tool. Congrats on the launch and best of luck! 🚀 @serdaraksoy

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Mack,

Wow, this comment made our day. We’ve put a ton of thought into making Wobo more than just “another resume builder” — so hearing that it actually helped you improve specific points like leadership and data analysis means everything.

We really appreciate you noticing the polish and depth. That’s exactly what we aimed for: not just formatting resumes, but helping people think strategically about how they present themselves.

Thank you so much for taking the time — and for comparing us to the big names too 😅

Wishing you all the best on your job search!

Been using it since beta and recommended it to a few friends. I’ve used Rezi and Jobscan before, this one feels cleaner, and I liked that it gave me specific phrasing ideas. Still figuring out if I’ll switch completely, but so far it’s been helpful, especially with the STAR-style rewrites. It's one of the best AI resume builders I tried.

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Martin, @martin_karin

Huge thanks for sticking with us since beta — that means a lot. We’re really glad the STAR-style rewrites and phrasing suggestions hit the mark for you. Those were some of the hardest (and most debated!) features to get right.

We know switching tools fully takes time, so no pressure there — but hearing that Wobo is already one of the best you’ve tried is a big win for us 🙌

Appreciate the support and the thoughtful feedback!

Mike

I'm using their Premium plan and they also included their resume builder for free with my plan, tried it once and thought it was good. I’d used Teal before, but Wobo’s AI suggestions felt way more professional and tailored. Overall, it’s been a good experience so far. Companies use AI for everything so we need to use too!

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Mike,

Thanks so much for trying out the resume builder — and for the Premium support! 🙏

Really glad to hear the AI suggestions felt more professional and tailored compared to what you’ve seen before. That balance between automation and real usefulness is something we care deeply about.

Totally agree: if companies are using AI to screen us, we should be using AI to present ourselves better too. Appreciate you being part of the Wobo journey 💪

Serena

I’ve been using Wobo for a while now and had tried their old resume builder before. It was decent back then, but nothing that really stood out. This new version though? Way better. You can tell they put serious effort into improving it. The formatting’s cleaner, the suggestions make more sense, and everything is built to be ATS-friendly, which is honestly so important.

A lot of people don’t realize that if your resume isn’t optimized for those tracking systems, recruiters might not even see it. I’ve had that happen before, no responses for weeks, then suddenly more callbacks after updating my resume with ATS-friendly formatting. The builder also helped me rephrase a few outdated bullet points and highlight more measurable outcomes, which I think made a real difference. It’s a good update and worth using even if you think your resume is already ‘good enough.

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Serena,

This is such a thoughtful comment — thank you! 🙏

We knew our old builder had potential but needed serious work, so hearing that you see the difference means the world. ATS optimization was one of our top priorities this time around — and it’s awesome to know it actually made an impact on your callback rate.

Also love that you pointed out the “good enough” trap — so many resumes miss the mark not because they’re bad, but because they’re not strategic. Thanks for sharing your experience and helping others understand the value of getting it right.

çağatay Erdal

hello, looks like exciting as i hate looking for new job opportunities. I can make AI work instead :)

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Çağatay,

Haha totally get you — job searching can feel like a full-time job on its own 😅

Glad Wobo can take some of that pain off your plate. Let the AI do the heavy lifting so you can focus on… anything else!

Appreciate you checking it out 🙌

– Serdar @cagatay_erdal

Alex Ana

Does this tool support creating resumes tailored for different industries?

Serdar Aksoy
@alex_ana Yes, you can use it for any industry, you just need to type your target title then AI will give you recommendations depending on that
MD Amirul Islam

Can you upload an existing resume and have the AI improve it, or do you have to start from scratch?

Serdar Aksoy
@1mirul you can upload existing one, use your wobo profile or create new one
mdbaharul hasan

I’ve tried a bunch of resume tools, but this one was the easiest to stick with. It didn’t overwhelm me with too many options upfront.

Serdar Aksoy

Hey!

So glad to hear that! Keeping it simple and easy to stick with was one of our main design goals — job seekers already have enough to deal with 😅

Thanks for giving Wobo a try and sharing your thoughts — it really means a lot 🙏

– Serdar @mdbaharul_hasan

Mahin Ali

Just gave this a go. The bullet point rewrites actually sound like something I’d write, not random fluff.

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Mahin,

That’s exactly what we were aiming for — AI that enhances your voice, not replaces it with fluffy corporate nonsense 😅

Glad the rewrites felt natural and personal. Appreciate you giving it a go and sharing feedback 🙌

– Serdar @mait

Tanjum 🔥 🚀🚀

I love how it doesn’t just throw one-liners at you. You get multiple options to choose from or customize. That’s rare.

Serdar Aksoy

Hey Tanjum,

So glad you noticed that! 🙌

We really didn’t want to just throw out random one-liners and call it a day — giving people options (and control) was a big priority for us.

Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to explore Wobo 💖

– Serdar @tanjum

Arlene

Tried the resume builder after seeing the PH launch, honestly way better than I expected. Super clean layout and helpful suggestions.
