Another day, another phone carrier? Verizon just announced their's šŸ¤”

@amrith I don't think your link is correct? Were you referring to Hum?
Jacqueline von Tesmar
Hey Makers! How do you go about starting a new phone carrier? How is it going up against the big dogs?
G G
Sucks price not competitive, Tello much better and others better. Claim to fame, they treat you nice???

Give these guys a try. The customer service is stellar, the plans are affordable and the service covers many areas.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this company. I was hesitant at first as I have been loyal to Verizon Wireless. I've tried all of the carriers repeatedly.

I often am traveling. T-Mobile had weak service while out in the world that isn't a city. Verizon is expensive. AT&T has awful customer service.

I gave them a try in an extra phone and loved the service so much I've switched all of my lines and my iPad over to this service.

Pros:

Great prices, and amazingly great customer service.

Cons:

Sprint Network is weak in some areas.

Renee Harris
@ray_ray_angel Itā€™s very weak. Donā€™t even lie as if they good, itā€™s horrible
Tyler Brewer
@ray_ray_angel @renee_harrisofpearland I suggest you try visible. They're unlimited plan is truly unlimited! No BS and it's only for $40 a month!
Chris Jones
@ray_ray_angel Wow...the astroturfing done by this company was SO blatant, it is as if they KNEW their company sucked. The strangest thing is that they actually thought they would get away with it and people would think these reviews were rel. T-Mobile has bad service outside of cities...but Sprint doesn't? What a joke.
Dan Dan
Have been using Project Fi which has the same idea, pay for what you use. I find myself in wifi land most of the time, so it works for me, but if you find your self using your data plan all the time, this will turn out to be very very expensive very fast.
Paul Jurczyk

If you're reading this, stop what you're doing and give these guys a shot. You WILL NOT REGRET IT! I can't give them enough praise.

Pros:

Much cheaper than my previous carrier T-mobile, and I swear I have even better service.

Cons:

I haven't found any yet to be honest... it's really been the best phone carrier experience ever. Hell, best experience with a company ever.

@paujur not sure who you dealt with there or if youā€™re an employee, but they suck bad and do illegal business.
Curtis Muller
@paujur @wesley_loftiss @eileen_dover that is definitely an employee. Won't deny the service was good but it's a resold att business account,I called 611 and and att explained it all. Not worth the headache.
Joey Daniel
@paujur @wesley_loftiss they are a ripoff business and keep trying to rip me off. Had to cancel my credit card. Now have to file a fraud complaint on them. What trickery they use.
Tracy Turner
@paujur @wesley_loftiss @eileen_dover @curtism303. It may well be a resold business account, but my service with them is awesome and the coverage is much better than Verizon. Internet speed is fantastic. I am not an employee or related to one, either. Just a very satisfied customer.
Alexander Schwartz
@paujur Terrible, terrible company, so so dishonest, as other reviewers stated, they absolutely refuse to cancel my service, they sent me a used phone, when I paid for a new one.
Cosmo Jones
I chatted with them today thanks to this hunt, gotta say they certainly were very nice, transparent and such. Unfortunately they don't have business plans yet which is my current need, but I'm very interested in watching the disruptors in this space and when 5G rolls out, perhaps we will see more competition from both wireless and ISPs.
Wesley Loftiss
This company is full of liars. They tell you one thing and do another. When you try to port out, they make your account inactive so you canā€™t keep your number.
Christy Larsen
@wesley_loftiss the exact same thing happened to me I turned them into the FTC like the exact same thing happened to me and I'm still pissed. They charged me 21 bucks and I never was able to use the service they refused to refund me they demanded that I buy one of their phones. I didn't but I lost my number.
Michelle Quezada
@wesley_loftiss Iā€™m having the same issue with them this very moment! Iā€™ve been without phone service for over 24 hours right now and can not port back to my original provider! The customer service is terrible on top of the stress of what Iā€™ve been going through with them to do a simple transfer of services to them that didnā€™t work due to their system. Now I canā€™t even retrieve my original phone number from them. No one wants to listen or help me get this resolved all they have done is provide rude customer service and point the finger at my original service provider. I wish I wouldā€™ve come across this forum prior to yesterday!! I wouldā€™ve never!!
Lori A Wellman
Their customer service SUCKS, their employees are idiots, and they're liars. Not to mention $60 for new line activation. REALLY?? $60?? I thought I'd found a good provider, but I am seriously regretting my decision. Run. Run fast. Run far.
Johanna Mae Santiago
i love my service with Wing, truly unlimited, unlike AtT(my previous carrier) was hesitant at first, but glad that I took the courage to give it a try! šŸ˜

Simply discussing their data plans on Fb on their ad about how 3gb is not enough data, then to only jump to unlimited, lead to a BAN FOREVER on their account. THATS CHILDISH AND PATHETIC. Thats extremely poor taste and horrible customer service. Simply talking via text to their "helpful" whatever they are called, gave conflicting information from their site, ignored questions or simply did not acknowledge what I needed as a consumer. and they're trying to win my business? Cant imagine how bad it will be after Im already signed up.
Eduardo Pepito
I love this company. The employees were quick to respond and help me with any question I had. The only regret I have is I hadn't switched sooner.
Chris Kendall
This company is a joke. I commented on one of their FB posts about how the 3gb plan wasnt quite enough and unlimited was too expensive, since they're supposedly the best phone carrier out there, I was hoping for some better options, if not now in the future. nope they just blocked me, and deleted my comment. No response. And forever banned on their page, yet they still continued to solicit me via text to buy their services. YEA RIGHT. I told the next agent off and they gave a canned answer of how they didnt know, and did I want to buy today? I told them to go F*** themselves. No answer. They then continued to harrass me 27 times via text from multiple number after I had told them, get this, 20 times to stop contacting me. Talk about a pushy company who does not care about you.

If anybody is considering switching, just don't. They try everything they can to make you switch and once you switch they don't accept the commitments they made. I switched from Verizon, I had a 1 year contract remaining with a BOGO deal, so I was paying for one phone and I was getting credit for the other phone, my monthly bill was $135. When I saw the wing add pop up on my timeline I reached out to ask if they would honor the BOGO deal and carry my contract over which would save me around $30/month. And to my surprise agent I was talking to informed me they would cover both phones, so I switched. Now I am being told they won't even though I have the screenshots of the conversation with their agent. If you are in a contract with a special deal like me do not switch!!!
Liza Rhoades
Wing banned me from their page on Facebook because I found information that the creators are a serial start up group that starts new companies and then sells them off. So I commented on a post and asked them if they would sell to Sprint because they bought space on Sprint's towers to offer service, therefore making Wing customers actual Sprint customers in the future (because Sprint gains customers by buying Wing out) and they banned me for it. Shady. Nice business practices. I'll just comment everywhere I can to inform the masses you're lying to them and will soon be selling their contracts to Sprint, whom you currently dog as being one of the problematic large companies you work to get away from.

Just switched. I had zero problems. Took much longer than the advertised 10 minutes, but looks like I'll be saving about $80 a month Vs. ATT. My boy Mikey handled the switch and was geeat customer service compared to ATT. NGL these reviews got me worried.
Eduardo Ceja
This company is full of lies and scams. First they failed to switch over one cell I owned money on. Then I had to pay it in full before it went to collections. While we were with ATT my wife had a 3gb plan and never went over. Every month while we were on wing she would go over her data they will charge me for more data. Keep in mind we were at home during COVID and she still went over her data? We have WIFI!!! Then a cell got lost so we decided to use the insurance we got through WING. Turns out wing told the insurance company that we own a very old model iPhone so we got sent a old model phone. They refused to accept their mistakes and they actually blamed me for not telling them I had a iPhone 7. Keep in mind I sent them final bills from ATT when I switched over. I never write reviews. Donā€™t make the same mistake I made and join this company. Waste of time and money!!!
Lynese Maese
They have wonderful service! I was able to activate in less than five minutes and the customer service reps are direct and to the point. So happy that I was able to get this service!! šŸ„°šŸ„°šŸ„°šŸ„°

I really love my experience with Wing. The switch was smooth and their agents were very nice. No call drops and I have coverage anywhere I go. So glad I switched.
Meg LaGrone
Wing. What can I say about wing? A lot. And none of it good. We joined wing right from the beginning of its creation. They promised a lot, with little ability and resources to be able to deliver. Let me just tell you about my personal life experience with the worst phone company Iā€™ve ever had. Let me preface this by saying, Iā€™m easy to please. I donā€™t leave bad reviews typically and a lot of the time I can say, ā€œweā€™re all human, accidents happen!ā€ But patterns and consistency donā€™t lie. Firstly, let me at least commend them on their prices. That part of the company is super pleasing. Or at least it would be if we had any cell signal whatsoever, which shocker... we didnā€™t. Upon ordering our devices through wing, a month went by with no sign, upon contacting wing we get a very unprofessional and obviously untrained agent saying ā€œoh yea, sorry we mustā€™ve forgot to place the order.ā€ More weeks go by and we constantly have to remind them to ship it to us. Then the wrong SIM cards were sent, that was another month or so of waiting for them to do their jobs. Itā€™s like they donā€™t even have a computer to where they can log and remember orders. For gods sake even a notepad to just remember a single thing. We tried to chalk it up to being a new company still working out the kinks, so we stayed with them in hopes of improvement. Eventually I was eligible for a trade in to receive a newer device. In doing this, my old phone lease would be cleared once my device arrived to them, and my new one would appear for me with the new device. I sent my device in, and after weeks. Nothing. Until I got on to tell my wing agent. Yep, I had to constantly tell the wing agents things they should already know. Another few weeks go by, and they still hadnā€™t cleared the lease. So here I am, two wing affirm leases, and one device. It took almost a month of constant badgering and reminding them for them to finally locate my ā€œmissingā€ trade-in and clear the lease. Any time weā€™ve needed to order anything itā€™s the same thing. With all the work Iā€™ve done FOR them, I deserve a paycheck. Leaving them for a new company was the best thing we did. And donā€™t worry, Wing wonā€™t make that easy for you either. The agents are incompetent, leave the chat at random because they donā€™t want to deal with it, forget anything you ever said, fail to reference previous chat logs or orders, the list goes on. Not to mention half the time they canā€™t form a sentence without numerous errors and bad grammar. If youā€™re interested in lower prices, Iā€™d highly recommend that you realize you will be getting what you pay for. Pay a little more or even the same for a service like T-Mobile that will give you what you need. Wing is small, but they DO not know what they are doing. Do not go with them unless you want orders forgotten and lost, rude and untrained customer service, and most likely terrible cell service. Also, theyā€™ve removed all avenues for posting reviews now, which is saying something. Good riddance wing!
