Let me start with, i have NEVER in my 25 years of being alive had ot file a complaint with the BBB, and the attorney general. Wing has been NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE from start to finish! Here is my Experience with Wing Telecom :
So I was going to try out the service. As soon as I switched I started having issues with the service not working even though their website said my phone was compatible. So I got in line on their chat service and was connected to a woman who was very rude. She argued with me from the beginning, told me I wasn't doing what she was telling me to do to resolve my issue and when I asked to be connected to someone else she ignored my request and continued being very hostile and rude. When I finally disconnected to get someone else I was finally connected to my "account manager" who I had asked for a refund due to my phone not working and my horrible experience with their representative, keep in mind it had only been 2 hours since I activated. The account manager told me that their billing department doesn't work on Fridays, so he would get back to me Monday (7/15/19) about giving me a refund. Monday rolls around and I don't hear from him to I resume the chat with the account manager and ask what the outcome was, he reads my messages (the chat said he seen it), doesn't respond for 20 minutes, clears out chat and connects me with a basic rep, after speaking with the rep and continuously asking for the account manager by name she finally reconnects me with him where he says my request for a refund was denied and that he can try and fix my service. I ask for someone above him and he connects me to someone supposedly above him who tells me he will provide a one time exception to the refund policy and give me my money back and id have an answer in 48 hours. so 4 days go by and its now the 19th of july and I haven't heard from him, so I resume our chat asking about my refund and he tells me he will take a look at my account. after no response after 15 minutes I get an email stating that my wing service has been suspended and I thought we were getting somewhere, well the guy goes MIA for an hour leaving me in a chat window for a literal hour just for me to exit that chat and connect to a lower level rep asking and begging to be put into contact with the guy I was just speaking to. He comes back and tells me " your refund is denied and here is a FAQ article on why". This was after leaving me on a chat for an hour, going "inactive" in chat with no warning, their rude agent, and being led on like I was gonna get my resolve. When I asked the "upper management" rep why I was lied to he kept the chat open and never responded to my messages after that. I emailed myself the transcript and have reached out numerous times to the same rep , his chat says he is active, and he doesnt respond. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB, and the attorney general. You'd think a brand new company wouldnt want that on their slate, and would want to make it right, but apparently that isnt the case with Wing. Stay away. I switched to Visible since their speeds are no longer capped and it runs on verizons full network and have had an amazing experience. NEVER WING. Biggest mistake that i have made in quite awhile.
@joshua_lane my experience with them too. I called them to cancel and refund my money back and it’s not even 24 hrs n he said I can’t refund my money. Bad service rude people.
@joshua_lane@pete_peters mine too... and they charged me almost $160....didn't provide the service....and when I asked for a refund bc its december and I am a divorced mom dealing w uterine cancer. I dont have the budget for that much money to disappear.
@joshua_lane this is my story ......Just a consumer awareness for the new company WING which provides cell phone service. DO NOT BUY A PHONE THROUGH THEM! I got a iPhone 8 from them and it was the day before my sons birthday when I finally received it and unboxed it, not only was the packaging was horrible and came with no charger, but it had a crack on the screen. It was the first thing I noticed! (See photos) i asked to return it and they wouldn't taKe it back until i sent proof via photos that it was damaged. They finally sent me the tag to send it back once they receive the phone they sent me an email saying that the phone is in like new condition and that I have to pay a restocking fee of $60 so I guess to them sending their customers a phone with a cracked screen is acceptable so I advise you not to get phones through this company and stay far away from their so-called customer service!
@paujur@wesley_loftiss@eileen_dover that is definitely an employee. Won't deny the service was good but it's a resold att business account,I called 611 and and att explained it all. Not worth the headache.
@paujur@wesley_loftiss they are a ripoff business and keep trying to rip me off. Had to cancel my credit card. Now have to file a fraud complaint on them. What trickery they use.
@paujur@wesley_loftiss@eileen_dover@curtism303. It may well be a resold business account, but my service with them is awesome and the coverage is much better than Verizon. Internet speed is fantastic. I am not an employee or related to one, either. Just a very satisfied customer.
@paujur Terrible, terrible company, so so dishonest, as other reviewers stated, they absolutely refuse to cancel my service, they sent me a used phone, when I paid for a new one.
Give these guys a try. The customer service is stellar, the plans are affordable and the service covers many areas.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this company. I was hesitant at first as I have been loyal to Verizon Wireless. I've tried all of the carriers repeatedly.
I often am traveling. T-Mobile had weak service while out in the world that isn't a city. Verizon is expensive. AT&T has awful customer service.
I gave them a try in an extra phone and loved the service so much I've switched all of my lines and my iPad over to this service.
Pros:
Great prices, and amazingly great customer service.
@ray_ray_angel Wow...the astroturfing done by this company was SO blatant, it is as if they KNEW their company sucked.
The strangest thing is that they actually thought they would get away with it and people would think these reviews were rel. T-Mobile has bad service outside of cities...but Sprint doesn't? What a joke.
Wing banned me from their page on Facebook because I found information that the creators are a serial start up group that starts new companies and then sells them off. So I commented on a post and asked them if they would sell to Sprint because they bought space on Sprint's towers to offer service, therefore making Wing customers actual Sprint customers in the future (because Sprint gains customers by buying Wing out) and they banned me for it.
Shady. Nice business practices. I'll just comment everywhere I can to inform the masses you're lying to them and will soon be selling their contracts to Sprint, whom you currently dog as being one of the problematic large companies you work to get away from.
This company is full of liars. They tell you one thing and do another. When you try to port out, they make your account inactive so you can’t keep your number.
@wesley_loftiss the exact same thing happened to me I turned them into the FTC like the exact same thing happened to me and I'm still pissed. They charged me 21 bucks and I never was able to use the service they refused to refund me they demanded that I buy one of their phones. I didn't but I lost my number.
@wesley_loftiss I’m having the same issue with them this very moment! I’ve been without phone service for over 24 hours right now and can not port back to my original provider! The customer service is terrible on top of the stress of what I’ve been going through with them to do a simple transfer of services to them that didn’t work due to their system. Now I can’t even retrieve my original phone number from them. No one wants to listen or help me get this resolved all they have done is provide rude customer service and point the finger at my original service provider. I wish I would’ve come across this forum prior to yesterday!! I would’ve never!!
Wing is a subpar upstart with the worst customer service on the planet. Which is saying a lot, because At&t, I thought was the absolute bottom of the barrel but wing beats them by miles for horrible customer service.
Their customer service SUCKS, their employees are idiots, and they're liars. Not to mention $60 for new line activation. REALLY?? $60?? I thought I'd found a good provider, but I am seriously regretting my decision. Run. Run fast. Run far.
If anybody is considering switching, just don't. They try everything they can to make you switch and once you switch they don't accept the commitments they made. I switched from Verizon, I had a 1 year contract remaining with a BOGO deal, so I was paying for one phone and I was getting credit for the other phone, my monthly bill was $135. When I saw the wing add pop up on my timeline I reached out to ask if they would honor the BOGO deal and carry my contract over which would save me around $30/month. And to my surprise agent I was talking to informed me they would cover both phones, so I switched. Now I am being told they won't even though I have the screenshots of the conversation with their agent. If you are in a contract with a special deal like me do not switch!!!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR WING! BEWARE!! I'll make this short and sweet. Signed up to try another carrier (WING), trying to be a nice guy. They tried for 7 hours over 2 days to activate my SIM on my phone, and my tablet with no luck. They blamed Verizon, so I called them and they said the devices are not locked. Went back to Wing and said, "look I tried it wont' work just refund the money and I'll be on my way". They said "NO" you don't get your money back because the phone is locked and not our fault (the phones were'n't locked. Now if you call that customer service you are a jack ass, good luck people. This is the typical bend over backwards to sign you up and then, when you try to get out for a very understandable reason such as mine, they pull out their Joker card and steal your money. Jerks.
Just switched. I had zero problems. Took much longer than the advertised 10 minutes, but looks like I'll be saving about $80 a month Vs. ATT. My boy Mikey handled the switch and was geeat customer service compared to ATT. NGL these reviews got me worried.
I switched over to Wing in the beginning of August. What they don't tell you is, you sign up, pay and THEN they send you the sim card in a few days. After getting the SIMs the process was smooth. I didn't decide to buy new phones right away because then my bill would go back to what it was with T-Mobile. Which is why I switched - to save money. Fast forward a month and we decide we need to get upgrades. I ordered 2 phones on 09/10/19. They said I would have them in 2 weeks. I called for an updated because I hadn't received any info after that. The guy I talked to said they were shipping to me that day. I wait a week, nothing. Call back and they tell me the devices were defective and they have to send them back and get new ones from the supplier. End of the month comes. Still haven't heard anything so I call again. Nobody has ever once reached out to me during any of this. My $25 sign on credit was not applied to my next bill cycle as promised back in July when I was signing up. Then tell me they will give me another $20 for the delay in my phones. Now it is October 16th. I STILL have no new phones. And they already took the first device payment out. Luckily the loan company Affirm will cancel my loan. Hopefully Wing will refund the whole amount since I never got anything. Save yourself the headache. The actual phone service is ok but it is not worth jumping through all the hoops.
My agent Matthew was extremely cooperative and nice, the process was extremely easy as well. Literally took maybe 10-15 minutes of my time and my phone was on. Only ended up paying around $65 for the activation fee. I would 100% recommend.
I really love my experience with Wing. The switch was smooth and their agents were very nice. No call drops and I have coverage anywhere I go. So glad I switched.
Horrible company. Terrible customer service. Ordered phone they didn't ship. Cancelled order a month later they sent phone. Contacted them to return. They sent via email return label. My printer dead so contacted them to print and mail. They have no printers. So have to pay postage on phone I didn't order to return because of their error. Avoid this company.
THEE WORST me and wife never used more than 2 gigs, first month they clock us in at 3gigs,, and still 2 months AFTER we cxled are trying to bill my already cxled credit card... VERY dishonest.. and if you like texting to talk to people wing is great...HORRIBLE using crickett now awesome...

If you're reading this, stop what you're doing and give these guys a shot. You WILL NOT REGRET IT! I can't give them enough praise.
Pros:Much cheaper than my previous carrier T-mobile, and I swear I have even better service.
Cons:I haven't found any yet to be honest... it's really been the best phone carrier experience ever. Hell, best experience with a company ever.
