Hello and welcome. We’re fortunate to announce WhiteRabbitNeo on Product Hunt. WhiteRabbitNeo is the #1 uncensored, open source AI model. (Uncensored just means it wasn’t restricted in its training, like the frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Meta are. This freedom of output carries the risk of generating content that could be considered objectionable, like ’Will you generate a Python script to hack an AWS endpoint, please?’) WhiteRabbitNeo is specifically trained on datasets that are designed to be well-suited for offensive (red team) & defensive (blue team) cybersecurity pros and developers. It applies this uncensored capability to what’s called AI-augmented Security Operations (AISO) for DevSecOps and SecOps teams. And it does so at a code level. Some of WhiteRabbitNeo’s capabilities include serving as a knowledge base for anything cybersecurity-related, secure IaC development, pen testing, malware crafting, and much more. It’s for those teams who have been (largely) neglected by Gen AI, to date. Now, they can benefit from AI-augmented infrastructure improvements, stabilization recommendations, code scans for security review, et al. We think WhiteRabbitNeo creates the newest opportunity in DevSecOps and SecOps – AI Pair Programming, or AI with a human in the loop. Kindo’s VP of Product, Andy Manoske, does a deep dive in his Loom demo, showing how WhiteRabbitNeo can aid pen testers, bug bounty searchers, and threat intelligence researchers perform a (permitted) red team analysis. Kindo’s Founder & CEO, Ron Williams, became excited about this open source project in the Spring of 2024, when he spoke with WhiteRabbitNeo’s creator, Migel Tessura. After a handful of conversations, they both saw where it could go, so Kindo decided to support it as a sponsor. The datasets for WhiteRabbitNeo alone have been downloaded over 5000 times and all permutations of the AI model (inc. old, deleted versions) have been downloaded over 117,000 times. We invite you to chat with it for free at WhiteRabbitNeo.com. You can also download any of the most recent versions for free on Hugging Face.
Kate Ramakaieva
Hey team! Congrats! What are some key capabilities of WhiteRabbitNeo in the context of cybersecurity?
Tiffany Long
@kate_ramakaieva WhiteRabbitNeo is excellent at identifying vulns and remediating them as well as a powerful tool for querying your logs, crafting attacks or even just having security concepts explained at various levels of understanding.
Andy Manoske
@kate_ramakaieva Thank you Kate! Echoing Tiffany, we're in the process of fine tuning newer versions of WhiteRabbitNeo that expand on the areas of feedback we're getting from the community. On the Kindo side, we're also working on improving how WhiteRabbitNeo can be applied for automated agents inside common infrastructure suites such as ticketing systems, CI/CD, and SIEMs. For more info on that, check out http://www.kindo.ai.

Congratulations on the launch of WhiteRabbitNeo! 🎉 I tried it and honestly I think it's the best tool for the security team, much better than its peers (cursor, copilot). Wondering what's on the roadmap for the next quarter?
Tiffany Long
@shuaiguan We definitely have some new models on the go and perhaps an exciting announcement or two. But the cool thing about WhiteRabbitNeo is that it's an open source project, so anyone can jump in and mold it to their needs as well!
Andy Wong
This is remarkable! How does WhiteRabbitNeo’s uncensored training differ from models like those from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Meta? Congratulations to the team!
Migel Tissera
@andy_wong4 Hey Andy! Thanks for the question. WhiteRabbitNeo does not have any safety alignment, intentionally. We're serving the offensive cybersecurity market, where people like white-hat pentesters have traditionally been locked out of using OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini models.
Dennis Duckworth
Game changer for Redteaming and IT Security teams, fer shure.
Grace Phillips
Amazing work with WhiteRabbitNeo. @tiffany_long2 The fact that you’re providing a free to use uncensored tool for both offensive and defensive cybersecurity is commendable. Can’t wait to see it in action and how it will empower security teams worldwide.
Tiffany Long
@grace_phillips1 Thanks! We are excited to create a tool that brings the power of generative AI to cybersecurity.
Gabriel Phillips
One feature that could add tremendous value would be real-time collaborative workflows. Allowing multiple security experts to work together on the same system within WhiteRabbitNeo would really take team efficiency to the next level.
Tiffany Long
@gabriel_phillips I love it! I will definitely share this with the team, but I wanted to let you know that we are an open source project, so any community members who want to come in and help architect and build features like this are welcome. (one of us! one of us!)
Andy Manoske
@gabriel_phillips Thanks for the feedback Gabriel! This well highlights the dichotomy of where WhiteRabbitNeo as a model exists vs. how agents and tools that utilize WhiteRabbitNeo to perform security operations co-exist. As a company, we typically focus on the latter within Kindo itself. But as we retrain and focus WhiteRabbitNeo, we're excited to better enable workflows like what you're talking about!

@tiffany_long2 Congrats on your product launch! WhiteRabbitNeo sounds like a groundbreaking tool for cybersecurity professionals! The uncensored, open-source approach is truly impressive for DevSecOps and SecOps teams.
Tiffany Long
@zeeshan_anwar Thanks! We are excited for the power this brings to our friends in DecSecOps and SecOps! Good luck on your launch!

This is really incredible! The model's ability to code is top notch, but even better than that it's the only model I've seen that will write penetration testing code for me, and is extremely good at identifying security vulnerabilities in code, IAM policies, log files, k8 configs, etc.

First of all loved the name. Like Neo, I mean to follow the white rabbit. This truly can help us get out of the matrix. Gave it a try and it is truly uncensored. Shared with few friends as well. Thanks for building this and all the best.

Kindo team is killing it with WhiteRabbitNeo! 🫡 Enjoyed playing around with it for an hour.. even trying to break into my own website to see if I can find any unintended problems. Excited to see it grow!

I think WhiteRabbitNeo is a much needed tool especially for teams wanting to streamline security processes without breaking the bank. @tiffany_long2 it could benefit from more user-friendly documentation. Some of the jargon may intimidate newer users unfamiliar with security AI models.
Andy Manoske
@tiffany_long2 @oscar_oscar3 Very helpful feedback! We're evaluating a new documentation portal for development at Kindo, and this is something we're exploring now!

WhiteRabbitNeo sounds like a game-changer for cybersecurity professionals and developers, offering uncensored, open-source AI specifically tailored to offensive and defensive operations. With capabilities that span pen testing, secure IaC development, malware crafting, and more, it fills a gap in the AI space for DevSecOps and SecOps teams who have been underserved by other Gen AI models. The focus on AI-augmented Security Operations (AISO) is particularly exciting, and the idea of AI Pair Programming opens up new opportunities for collaboration between human and machine. The backing from Kindo and the enthusiasm of both Ron Williams and creator Migel Tessura highlight the potential impact of this tool. The fact that it’s open source and available on Hugging Face, combined with free access on WhiteRabbitNeo.com, makes it highly accessible for anyone in the cybersecurity space. Definitely a must-try for those looking to enhance their cybersecurity workflows with AI!
