@aaronoleary It assesses if the the cause of the sensitivity is likely to be in a wrong skincare routine or if it’s based on a underlying condition (but we are not providing any medical advice / diagnosis), and then factors like skin concern (what worries the user - we don’t believe in image recognition tools telling users what’s not perfect with their skin), skin color, age.

Hello 👋! We’ve built this tool to help people who suffer from sensitive skin. Dermatologists today are speaking of an “epidemics of sensitive skin” - people use too many skincare products. Too many product, or products with too aggressive ingredients disrupt the skin barrier, leading to skin sensitivity, dryness and even acne. Influenced by skincare brands marketing, people who got the issues think that just need to buy yet another “magic product” that would fix the issue. In reality, additional products just add to the problem and people get caught in a vicious circle of more and more complex skincare routine and more suffering for their skin. This tool can help to break the cycle! Our algorithm analyzes all products that the person is using in their routine and flags potential problems. This analysis is based on breakdown of the products’ formula powered by our database with thousands of ingredients and estimations of their concentrations. Only then the recommends a few gentle skincare products instead of the problematic ones to create a more effective, gentle skincare routine.
