Vivid lets you double the brightness on your MacBook Pro and Pro Display XDR. Raising the maximum brightness of your screen to levels that are normally only for HDR videos. Version 2.0 is a complete rewrite focused on improved performance and less CPU usage.

Isn't this bad for the health of the display? I'd imagine the limitation is in place to regulate heat.
