Virtual Vacation lets you "experience the world from home" via several modes of travel listed on the homepage. These modes of travel show videos from different cities, and include webapps, interactive games, and more. π
You have no idea how much peace this gives me!! My dad (now retired) was a commercial airline pilot. Hearing the airplance roar over the views of the cities brings me back that excitement & peace I always feel when I finally get to my destination - especially san fran where he was based!! I look forward to "traveling" all over thank you so much!
Thanks for the hunt @denzel_grover! I first talked to Denzel when he tried to submit his own videos for the site. Since then, he's been an avid supporter of Virtual Vacation, and has given me lots of valuable advice. At Virtual Vacation, the goal is to let people experience the world through new culture, architecture, etc.
I love talking to everyone, so if you have a comment, don't hesitate to share. π
Hey all. This is my very first hunt!! I was initially introduced to virtualvacation.us a few weeks ago via a Twitter post. Since then I've been using the site as background for coding, and tedious tasks. I got in touch with the founder, Paul, and asked if I could hunt his site and I got the go ahead. Super excited to share this amazing product with you guys. Best of all, its free.
Hi all! Great service, even better than just spherical panoramas, which are very limited in the route. I like the fact that you can see different tiny details. First time I saw it in some repost. I admit, in covid reality the product is right. I love such things when I need to do a reset in work and just refresh in memory how the world looks like. Still you have city walks available, and how about nature, canyons, waterfalls? Explain what I mean - I`ve always been attracted to a virtual walk and tour in Niagara Falls( https://tourstoniagarafalls.com) before seeing it live. Hope that soon you`ll also have walks on unreachable and unknown routes.
