Thank you for checking out V2 of my product launch for Vers! Social networking is addicting and fundamentally broken, and Vers is here to fix that. With Vers you get a chronological feed. Only posts from the people you follow, in the order they are posted. No more sponsored posts, no ads, and no algorithm changing the order of your feed behind the scenes. Don't get sucked into a feed full of posts you've already read. The Vers distraction-free feed removes the noise by only showing you 1 post at a time. Once you interact with that post it will never be seen again. When you're out of posts your feed will be empty. Enjoy social media free from distractions. Vers is a social network for those who are tired of social networks. No worries about follows, likes, or any other superficial social media numbers that ruin the experience, it's just you and your content. Tell your stories and share your thoughts with the world. On Vers only you can see how many likes and followers you have so there's no external pressure to perform well. Ever get tired of the constant notifications on your phone? One notification, then another, and another. As the minutes go by it's hard to feel present in the moment you're in because of the distraction of the next notification. With Vers you can set it up so you only receive your notifications once per day. Studies have shown that vibrant colors are a crucial part of how social networks get people addicted. Enter Grayscale Mode, a scientifically proven feature that's able to minimize your addiction to social networking. By stripping away all the neuron-stimulating colors from the site you'll be less motivated to use Vers. Vers will even encourage you to log off if it’s your bedtime. What other social network can you say does that?

@daltonedwards You've picked a very nice cause Dalton! I would love to know how you solved the chicken and egg problem that all platform based businesses have to deal with initially.

@chetan_natesh I’d love to answer this question could you please elaborate

@fares_aktouf thank you so much 💜

@daltonedwards In the beginning you have no content and no audience, which one comes first? and how ?
Dalton Edwards
@chetan_natesh If I’m understanding correctly: you’re correct when you say that when a new person joins Vers they won’t see any content because they haven’t made any connections yet. This is a problem plaguing all social networks. I’m considering thoughtful ways to help new users meet new people/engage with new and exciting content, but I must tread carefully as that starts to enter the “engagement first social networking” territory. A cool thing is there’s not as much pressure to perform since your like and follower counts are hidden, so people won’t be as concerned with an audience as they are with sharing their thoughts. I’ve considered social log in, and having it suggest you to follow your friends/followers on Vers, I’ve considered a pen pal system in the post office, I’ve considered interest based feeds, etc. Right now to view content you need to follow people or go to the global feed to view posts from everybody.
