After watching developers struggle with context switching between terminals, dashboards, and IDEs while building voice AI, we knew there had to be a better way. The Vapi CLI eliminates the friction. Want to add voice AI to your existing React app? vapi init and you're coding. Need to test webhooks? vapi listen and skip ngrok entirely. Tired of your IDE hallucinating our APIs? vapi mcp setup gives it perfect knowledge. We've supported a ton of tech stacks from day one because voice AI should work with your existing workflow, not against it. Install in 10 seconds: curl -sSL https://vapi.ai/install.sh | bash
Congrats on the launch Dan!!

@timcha Thanks Tim!

I really love your graphics for this launch. They are very cool and unique. But most important: Congrats on launching! Building a technical product takes time, perhaps even more than a "usual" typical product, so even more congrats haha

@ernest_gonet Thanks Ernest. Launches indeed take a lot of love!

This goes so hard, can't wait to test it out! Any helpful tips for integrating this with existing applications?

Dan Goosewin
@ej_sanmartin just run vapi init in your project and you’re done ;)

Really excited to dive into the voice AI space, and Vapi looks like the perfect launchpad. The fact that it abstracts away the heavy lifting around voice infra, latency, and LLM integration is huge for someone new to this area. Love how developer-friendly it seems right out of the box—will definitely be exploring it as I start building. Great work to the team!
