2Up is a new way for Australians to fight finances together in co-op mode. Easily invite your Player 2 and join forces to battle bills, share expenses and track spending.
I dig this a lot. Finances can be a stresser for a lot of couples. I really like the gamified approach. The landing page is great but I'm also a sucker for retro arcade cabinets.
Congrats on the launch @seb_neylan!
@gabe__perez thanks, mate! The vision of @anson_up and the hard work of many designers and devs at Up. There's some further detail about what we have planned next in this space (like shared savers) here on our public roadmap: https://up.com.au/tree/
Up has made banking enjoyable again, the latest features allowing shared accounts, got my partner and I fully converted to Up for all our personal banking needs. If they had support for business accounts, I would move my business accounts to Up in a heartbeat
@bhinchley thanks for the kind words! Making money stuff actually engaging (and even, dare we say it, fun) is a core aim of ours. Noted on the business accounts front!
Hiya Product Hunt 👋🏻
Whether you're splitting the Netflix bill or building a financial empire, 2Up is more than a shared account – it’s a collaboration. Your individual spending stays separate, with privacy and control over what’s yours. Easy to setup in-app (with instant digital cards), and easy to close.
For questions about 2Up tag in Up's Head of Product, @anson_up, below! Early access is open now for Australian users, with the full release coming very soon ⚡️
@alexmetelerkamp1 thanks a bunch, Alex! There's more features specific to 2Up, like shared savers, dropping very soon. More detail about all that, here (if you look at the 'Accounts' section): https://up.com.au/tree/
A big fan of Up already, this is definitely welcomed in the community. I reckon there could have been 20% more features in it before it was released (even if that meant another few weeks wait) as it's hard to adopt in our routines without the pay splitting etc., but I'm stoked it's all in the pipeline! Always a balance, I know. Love your work team.
@kai_lovel always a tough call on when to release! We've learnt a ton in the last couple weeks which has helped prioritise future work. To say the least, there were quite a few hypotheses behind this feature/positioning! Agree that pay splitting and/or auto transfers are core features — they're a high priority for us (we're literally working on them right now) and we look forward to releasing them in the near future.
@_maoosi thanks so much! There's been plenty of fantastic innovation in this space in UK and Europe so we're proud to be part of making it happen now here in Aus.
