What do you look for in a product when you upvote?

1. Do you see if it is useful to you personally, or to your niche ? ..Or.. do you just evaluate something to seem like a good product in general and upvote it? 2. Is 'who is the maker', an important factor in your decision ? 3. Do you go by presentation on the ProductHunt launch post,or upvote only after visiting the website?

Most time it is by the suggestions from twitter circle. To be honest this will not add value. But that is the fact.
