What are company benefits you offer? [and is it enough?]
In the trend of vibe coding and the era of artificial intelligence, when almost everyone can now start their own business, companies sometimes have trouble finding capable employees.
What does this usually mean?
Companies must offer benefits that are a sufficient incentive to get a job.
This can include:
• very generous salary
• scholarships (for conferences, courses)
• coverage of health care and social insurance
• quarterly retreats... and the like.
But is it enough?
How do you "attract" future talent? (AKA what stimuli/perks do you use?)
I have to note that, in general, American employers offer much more than European companies.
Companies that usually have nothing to offer write things like:
– young, dynamic team,
– free coffee and the like... (This doesn't work anymore... and I doubt it ever worked. It's like when a recruiter asks you why you want the job – you don't just say you need to pay the bills.) 😀
I'd like to know how perks differ from country to country and for different types of companies (e.g. startup, corporate, etc)

I believe a generous salary is the most attractive benefit to most of people. The company I work for now provides housing or meal allowances which are also appealing to much employees. Besides, offering stock options can also attract talents and motivate employees to work better.

@feliciana_liu I have to admit, equity is also attractive. Tho, not very common in my country.
