Should you launch on PH with a waitlist or wait for it to be ready and available ?

I am curious to know if is relevant to launch a product on PH with only a waitlist and landing page / demo available to the public or if you should wait for the product to be fully released and available ? Wondering the pros and cons 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thanks for your insights

I think it's great to be able to get people talking about the product via a waitlist and to present it via a short video presentation or even a real use case to explain how people can use it. Can't wait to see it!

I've only done one launch here so far (today, still in progress) and unless I've done both I think it's difficult to answer your question. At first glance I would tend to say that if you have an existing audience (or the financial means to push it on social media) then the Waiting List side could work. From experience, waiting lists work when: - This creates a viral loop - That the reward at stake is obvious - That the product is great So it all depends on your starting point I think. Whether you already have an audience or not (or friends who have an audience). I think that weighs heavily in the balance.
