Is your product a painkiller or a vitamin? (A classic from Hooked 😅)

If your offering (product/service/business) is a "nice to have," you need to have the stature of a doctor. No one cares about multivitamins unless a doctor says it's time. I'm not saying you should become a doctor, just start marketing. In fact, just do that.

Interesting comparison! My service feels more like a vitamin.

Great point about the "painkiller vs. vitamin" dilemma! If you're offering something that’s a "nice to have," it’s crucial to position it like it’s essential. Just like the vitamin suite Burnley provides, people may not always realize they need that extra boost of B12 or Vitamin D until a specialist emphasizes its importance. When marketing your product or service, you need to create the same urgency and trust that a doctor would instill—making your offering feel as necessary as a good dose of vitamins for overall well-being.
