Is my landing page trash? Please be honest!
PBLZ : Super simple work tracker app
https://pblz.work/home/index.html
I created a simple landing page for this project.
I did everything myself except for the hosting, using only a cursor. Since I'm a designer without much coding experience, I feel like there are some awkward elements.
Can you give me some candid feedback on what's lacking in my website, including development, marketing, SEO, and design? If there are critical issues, I’d like to fix them (even though the 100% launch might be delayed...).
Let's show the power of the PH community.

Hey @imbud1980, i've the same feeling about your landing page, i don’t understand what your app does.
But in general the landing pages looks fine, the background animation is a Plus, but the purpose of a landing page is attract and engaging users, so your have a bit of room to do it.
try to use manus.im to validate your landing page, he’ll give you a lot insights to improve, like Layout, SEO etc...
Keep going mate!
@pradomaker I'm glad we have a common opinion.
I'll reflect the changes and let you know; can I ask you once more?
Hey @imbud1980
here's a lit bit more quick feedback:
Add a clear subtitle explaining your value proposition - e.g "Track work time with a tap, balance life better"
Highlight benefits with icons instead of just text descriptions
Include user testimonials to build trust
Add more CTAs throughout the page, not just in the header
Add Google Play button or waitlist for Android users
Optimize images for mobile and improve SEO with proper heading structure
Loving the app for tracking my hours - simple yet effective! Let me know if you need more details.
@pradomaker
I plan to make some immediate revisions based on your feedback.
Thank you for reorganizing it.

Additional) Unfortunately, this product will only be available on iOS.
@imbud1980 @pradomaker I like the background animation too! But like others said, it's unclear what the app does. Maybe add a short video explaining it? Also, check out usemanus.im as Filipe suggested. Can't wait to see the improvements!
@pradomaker @fred_davis5 I'm glad to hear there are some good parts! It's shocking that I didn't know what the app was before downloading it, but that's my mistake. Have you had a chance to download it? If you try it out, could you please share your thoughts on the app?
Purposeful Poop
this is super low contrast
i dont really understand what your app does after staring at it for a while. what is total number of cities worked? (in your hero screen shot).
i would need alot more context on what your app actually does and what problem it solves for me before i would consider downloading.
congrats on shipping though! almost always the hardest part :)
@catt_marroll That's a good point! Let's fix it! Thank you so much for the feedback!
I really like the egg-dropping animation in the background. It's a fun touch. I also like the font choice and the design is clean and simple. However, it's not immediately clear what the app is for. It seems like it might be about scheduling work and personal time to help with work/life balance?
The phrase "STACK YOUR WORK, DISCOVER NEW BALANCE" in the tagline isn't very clear when first hitting the page. I had no idea what that meant, until I went to the dashboard section to read See your work patterns at a glance. Stack your daily logs into useful insights. This is valuable information, but it's buried under the dashboard. It would be more helpful to have this out in the open.
The same goes for the "connect with people" aspect. If I didn't click under the coworkers section, I wouldn't have immediately known about that feature. Making these features more prominent would help users understand exactly what the app offers right away.
As for the "connections" part, it says Meet professionals working nearby. Share spaces, share stories. Turn solo work into meaningful connections. It kind of feels like it could easily slide into dating app territory depending on how people actually use it. The way it's phrased could blur the lines and make it sound like the app is about making friends or having personal interactions. If that's not the intent (or maybe it is?), it might be worth clarifying in the app's messaging to ensure users understand that the connections are meant to be professional, not social.
You're using a Gmail contact email at the bottom of the page. I'd recommend registering a domain and setting up something like info@example.com. It adds credibility and a more professional touch, especially for a platform that aims to connect professionals.
Also, I'm just curious, why would someone need a whole app just to remind them to have a life? If you have to schedule that in, maybe it's not really a time management issue. Maybe it's a sign you're in the wrong career or environment? If you do need that, why not just use your phone's calendar?
Hope this helps!
@eliqa
I realized that the content is lacking and not specific enough!
I'll revise it based on your feedback!
Thank you for the thorough feedback 👍👍
It has been a huge help to me.

This app is designed for people who work alone.
I've experienced that the boundaries between work and daily life blur the more I work alone.
Even if I make plans, I can hardly stick to them. That's why I prioritized my "work records." I thought that as my records accumulate, they would form a work pattern and allow me to shape my work and life in my own way.
I actually created this for myself, and personally, I'm satisfied with it.
However, I need to address the points you mentioned and think more about them.
