How do you land your first client?

Hey Hunters, Curious about how you landed your first client. Just launched my design agency, Backlog (https://backlog.design/), and secured my very first client in just 10 days ✌️ Here is what I did. Once the website was up, I shared it with my network and asked if anyone needed a hand. I focused on folks I've already collaborated with or chatted with but couldn't proceed for some reason. Please share your tactic with me, so I can steal it 🙈
