Hey everyone 👋 I'm AKapoor — obsessed with movies, moods, and building fun things!
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm AKapoor, a designer, builder, and indie maker who’s borderline addicted to movies and storytelling 🎬✨
After spending too many nights endlessly scrolling Netflix (and still watching Friends again lol), I decided to build something simple — CineShuffle.
It recommends movies and shows based on your mood, not just random trends.
Building CineShuffle taught me so much about:
Emotional UX (building for feelings, not functions)
Tiny dopamine loops (swipes, shuffle hits)
Shipping before it feels ready 🙈
We just launched on @ProductHunt today if you want to check it out → https://www.producthunt.com/posts/cineshuffle
Would love to meet fellow builders here, jam on product ideas, and swap stories about launches, pivots, and indie chaos 🚀
Super excited to be a part of this community!
PS: What’s the last movie or show that seriously matched your mood perfectly? 🎥🎠Curious to hear!

Hey AKapoor! CineShuffle sounds perfect for those days when I just can't decide what to watch.
@david__roberts Hey David! 🚀
Thanks so much — that's exactly what we built CineShuffle for!

Hey there! :) It seems we have a lot in common.
Which good movies have you seen lately? :)
@busmark_w_nika Hey Nika! 👋
Recently watched Hereditary (super intense horror) and a series called How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) — really clever and fun!
Would love to hear your recent favorites too! 🎬✨

@a789 Uuu, I am not so sure whether I will give a horror a try, but interesting pick :D I watched Scarface. Old classic :D

Love that you focused on emotional UX, it's such an underrated part of great product design. Just checked out your launch.
@priyankamandal Hey Priyanka! ðŸŽ
Really appreciate you noticing the emotional UX angle — it’s a huge part of what makes CineShuffle feel personal and alive!
