Do you want to know the difference between CPU and GPU?

Yesterday a question popped into my mind after reading about the new Nvidia Digit supercomputer (which will retail at $3,000) and RTX 5090 GPU (which will cost $2,000), which was "Why do CPUs exist, if GPUs are so good?" or something like that. For non-professionals this is an interesting question, who are using gaming laptops/PCs in their daily lives for content creation and such. If you are wondering similar questions or someone in your circle is, this link will be helpful: https://codingstuff.substack.com...

Nvidia Digits + Cursor = Fast local models for coding.

@sentry_co A brilliant privacy-centric combo, but expensive.

@shahza1bmushtaq Not as expensive as spending 50$ a day on O1 😅 like I am now. I will recoup in 60days

@sentry_co You'll have to wait until May when it launches😁

@shahza1bmushtaq Hopefully I will get one on launch. The cursor team will need to add support as well I suppose. 1k TFlops 🤤

@sentry_co You need to talk to Cursor support to find out.

I've wondered about this too, especially after seeing the specs of the RTX 5090.
