Do you have AI fomo on Product Hunt??

Currently most of them tools launching on producthunt are on AI. If you are not building a tool related to AI are you feeling pressure?

Every other launch on producthunt seems to be around ChatGPT. How do you cope up with it

@matcha_anil I think its a good thing as the tech is still new and diverse applications help us explore the potential. BTW, I think along with GTP many other products are launched on PH as well. Yesterday I found a product about AIrport Maps which was impressive. Also, today we have launched Wavel AI which is more to do with Voice AI. Do check it out.

Yes, many products looking to have quick wins in #chatgpt hype, but a unique niche will stay for a long. Stick to your niche :)

@yash_gandhi4 Wise words. Only fear is if these AI products will replace the existing products not incorporating AI into the tool

@matcha_anil The best is to observe these trends closely, listen to your customers and put these AI models into your product once you see a fit. Avoid hypes as sometimes it's hard to follow for quick gains and stick to your plans/niche.

I don't think the ChatGPT trend to go down for the next 3 months at least, so you have time to polish your MVP before launching.
We're building a product that's all about meaningful human connection and interaction. I think with all the AI-generated content, people will value authenticity even more.

I do, but then, I cannot allocate developer time - costly - when I have zero confidence that AI APIs will be affordable. I think first prices we're seeing are just that: initial prices. Likely to change.

I do, and I'm actually overwhelmed by seeing the ChatGPT-based stuff everywhere. What's even worse is that anything that's possible to do for free using ChatGPT is now being offered as a paid product somewhere.
