Super excited to see this evolve. Having seen it from the very early sketches and how it's turned out over time, I can do nothing but take the hat off. Great work.
Looks awesome fellas.
So excited to use this for a couple of personal projects this year.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@rmtux the thing is that i'm not going to pay $30 per month for my own usage for sure. i'm looking at it as an individual, not a business. and i can't understand how business use it, and how many businesses. you need really a lot of clients to cover all invested millions, right?
@rmtux@reepush Well if you are talking about Typeform, then I would just have to say that people value better interactions, better interactions lead to better transaction and there is inherent value in that.
@rmtux@okuiux yes, design and interactions are on top. just i have an impression that somehow Typeform got a huge investment and they did a great job. but still it's just forms presented in a nice way. i can't understand value for millions here.
same with video. personally i feel very uncomfortable talking with a stranger on video. how it will make my communication better? also it's very rare to see models working in support, you know. looks like i'm not a targeted auditory.
I am a massive fanboy of Typeform, and all of us at Starberry love everything they do, so much so that we have used their products all over our agency website!
We've incorporates 3 types of the Typeform products. The standard conversational Typeform forms are used in place of the contact us page, We have a chat style Conversational User Interface (CUI) form on our homepage, and have VideoAsk video forms as part of our main calls to action ;-)
The team at Typeform rock too, they have been very engaged and responsive at all times, helping us really push what is possible.
@rus_sellers just checked your site.
the first chat is just to know user's email and phone number. why not to have 2 fields and submit button?
second one with more options and typeform really helps here. did you get more form submissions comparing with simple form and typeform's new one?
@rus_sellers@reepush
Typeform beats the industry standard response rate by far, just read this from Quartz if you want to understand better why Typeforms seemingly simple interactions patterns makes for higher response rates.

@alextrup VideoAsk is free. We have not thought of a paid tier yet. In any case what you are seeing now is core functionality and we would expect for that to remain in the free tier.
@typeform@okuiux thanks David! I will paste the code that is on your landing page. Will keep you updated 😉 on a side note, I used Typeform Pro for my wedding invitation... everybody was amazed by the result!! You're doing a great job guys!
This is truly a game changer for small products that live & die by their intimate connections to customers. Can't wait to see this evolve!
I want to start using it on one of my products but would like a little more control over the widget -- I want to reduce the widget's distance from the bottom right of the page (it's a bit too far out), customize the emoji on the widget, and customize the background color on the videoAsk once it pops up (right now it's purple by default). I would put it in production today if I could control two out of these three things.
I'm sure this is all in the product map, but wanted to say it anyway because I can't wait to use it. Kudos to the Typeform team! 🎊
This is super cool!
Something weird happens on mobile if you select 'text' as a response. The field is pushed out of view until i scroll back up. (iPhone XS Max)
So if I want to use this for my product business, and someone needs a response from me, I'm going to want to make sure I go somewhere quiet, look presentable, and kind of know what I'm going to say ahead of time so as not to make a long-winded rambling video. In some ways, this seems less efficient than a genuine written response which can be edited before sending.
I do understand the personability it brings — giving a face to your company, I just wonder if something like this can really take off as a substitution for standard text responses, which can be made from bed, in a loud mechanic shop, or while you're in a robe.
What are people's thoughts on the awkward aspects of this product?
@mbrunygroth Just to clarify. For people responding, there is the option to reply via Audio and Text as well (not everyone wants to do video as you point out).
As far as creating the Contact form greeting video. I guess I would just have to say you get as much back as you put into it. So the more you invest in making a good greeting question the better the response you might get. At the end of the day that´s how things work in real life and the ethos behind this product
@okuiux I see, my misunderstanding was that I thought this was meant to be a way to respond to inquiries, not to ask questions soliciting a response. Thanks for clearing that up :)
This is interesting...and also fun! I think it will encourage more visitors to actually interact with teams, this can revolutionize Chatbots and traditional user conversation hacks :)) looks promising! Congrats
This is pretty awesome. It's kind of like when chat widgets on websites just started way back when. Instant feedback is key to help to get customers to convert. Great Job!

It took me 2 minutes to implement it. Can't get better than that!
