I read Hacker news every morning but I spend quite a lot time clicking the articles and comments. I started to think if it could be possible to make the reading faster. The problem with alternatives is that a list is great for some things but not for showing Hacker News stories. I'm reading stories one at a time and then it would be better to show more information about that one item instead of what are the next 10 story titles.
I'm interested to hear what you think about the controls. All of them are listed in the store description but I challenge to not look at them first and just test if all of them come naturally or is there some weird actions.
The app changes story automatically after 10 seconds unless you pause it by putting finger top of it. This is something I spent a lot of time thinking. I wasn't sure if it's a good idea or not. In the end I decided to add it. The purpose is to push the reader continue reading if they get stuck or doesn't concentrate the story. This way a user should be available to view the stories faster and concentrate better.
