Bluesky is growing fast, but there haven’t been many tools to help users understand their audience or manage their followers — so I built one!
With Tracker, you can in real-time:

Is it able to show follower overlap with other users?
@joey_k_moran Not yet, but I plan to implement this in a future version.
@joey_k_moran I’ve tried a few, even in beta. This is by far the best. There’s another popular one that I tried and no comparison. It doesn’t offer what you asked about. To me that seems like huge undertaking! Some of us have big follower count but have friends with double the amount.
The functionality is impressive. Does your tool provide historical tracking or is it just real time data from the moment the user signs up?
@arianna_wright Thank you! The tool provides historical tracking starting from the time the user starts using it. There is an in-app database which stores all the unfollowers.
Amazing concept. Is there a way to export data or integrate with other analytics tools?
@vasyl_yeremeiev Hello, currently that's not available, an export functionality has been created for backup purposes only (coming in the next version). Which data would you expect to export?
Does it also track engagement trends, like when your content performs best based on the time of day or day of the week?
@gerardo_zepeda_diaz Hello, for the time being that's not implemented. But it's a great suggestion and I'll add it to my TODO list!
I love the clarity of the data, but I’d recommend adding some simple visual summaries, like graphs or timelines so users can easily grasp their growth trends without feeling overwhelmed.

Does it send push notifications or email alerts when you gain or lose followers, or is everything handled within the app?
@mayank_jain48 Everything is handled within the app, but it's on my immediate plans to send push notifications to the user (the user will decide if and how often that will happen). I do not plan to support email notifications, as everything runs within the app and I do not gather any user emails or have anything running in my own servers.
Bluesky is still evolving how does your tool adapt to API or platform changes, especially regarding content moderation or user privacy?
@gerardo_emanuel Well, regarding their API my app speaks directly with it, so in case of any breaking changes I'll have to adapt my app as well. Hopefully that won't come out of the blue but with prior notification. I'm using all the best practices Bluesky mentions in their documentation.
Regarding user privacy, my app communicates directly with the Bluesky servers to fetch the data, I do not hold or store any user info anywhere nor I have a server running in the background. So it's truly decentralized as each phone speaks directly with Bluesky (and more specifically with each user's PDS).
How frequently is the data updated every few seconds, minutes or is it done manually?
@alexander_green6 The data are updated once on every start-up of the app, and there is a "refresh" button at the home page which fetches real-time data. The app communicates directly with Bluesky servers to get the latest data at any time.

Must-Have Tool for Managing Your Bluesky Account
I've been using Tracker Manager for Bluesky for a while now, and I can honestly say it's a game-changer if you're active on Bluesky.
It gives you complete control and insights over your followers and following list. You can easily see who followed or unfollowed you, track your follower growth, and manage your account with helpful features like bulk follow and bulk unfollow.
You can create a "whitelist" to protect certain accounts when unfollowing in bulk, and you can also track who you have unfollowed yourself.
On top of that, you can check your blog posts, likes, post engagement, and see your mutual connections.
Everything works smoothly and intuitively — it’s clear that a lot of thought went into building this tool.
If you want to take your Bluesky experience to the next level, I highly recommend giving Tracker Manager a try. It’s super useful and works perfectly!

Love it except one thing missing: Handles changing. I changed mine and no one knew. It was a mess. There’s another “Follower” app many are using. It was no comparison to yours. I can’t even list the differences…that the other is lacking. Basics like “Follow All / Unfollow All” in one click but worse: NO WHITEBOARDS! Useless app to me. If you DM me on Bsky I’ll tell you!
I've used the tracker since January, soon after it was released, I think. It was already a good app, but they were constantly adding new features and implemented many of my requested features along the way.
This tracker is one of the most innovative apps I've seen in quite a while.
