@producthunt@mr_coders Great solution to a very real problem! Amazing to see how you've turned this insight from 100+ startups into a solution. Congrats on the launch!
To make sure I get this completely... What the tool outputs is a prompt template to use in actual LLM conversations?
Does the data pull from anywhere useful? Like scraping the product, readying docs, or anything to add to what the user has to type in anyway? I.e. is it just hallucinating the rest of the company details?
@jalcantara Thanks for the great questions, Jorge!
Actually, THEO creates an AI-ready structured knowledge base document, not just a prompt template. We pull data from your documents and website URLs, focusing on specific data points (company strategy, product, audience, etc.). Even when certain data points aren't explicitly stated, we analyze the broader context to draw relevant conclusions where possible.
You can upload this structured output to any AI assistant that supports document uploads (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). This way, the AI bases its responses on your actual business information, not hallucinations - especially important for strategic tasks where accuracy matters.
The more you provide during the setup, the better and context-rich the output document will be.
Makes sense? Did I answer your question? :)
I don't see where to add the other URLs, @mr_coders. And the output does seem to be a prompt to copy-paste into other chats.
Struggling to see how it is different from adding all this info to a Claude Project or ChatGPT Teams. If the issue is too much context use, you can always ask one of them to summarize it.
I may be missing something.
@jalcantara
Thanks for the great questions, Jorge!
1. Actually, you only need to provide one URL - we automatically scrape and analyze other relevant URLs from your website.
2. About summaries - asking AI to summarize actually isn't a good solution. It will consistently miss critical context and relationships in your business model, strategic positioning, and stakeholder connections. THEO instead automatically maps these relationships and structures them in a format that helps AI truly understand your business nuances.
3. The output is 1 document that holds the most important info and their relations. Yes, you ipload it to chat or create customGPT and use as usually further on.
@jalcantara The document includes some system instructions/prompts to improve the utilization of the document.
And the prompt you might refer to is the activation prompt to be copy/pasted together woth the structured document.
Congrats on the launch, Guntis! I used the product last week, trying to define ICP of our product. It was really helpful for having a structured conversation with ChatGPT about the topic!
@martins_vaivars
Thank you, MΔrtiΕΕ‘! π
Really happy to hear THEO helped with ICP definition - it's exactly the kind of strategic task where having structured, context-rich information makes AI discussions more productive.
Congrats on the launch! Looks like an amazing tool :)
A painpoint I have with Notion's AI assistant is that it's unable to look into subpages in a database. Wondering if I can connect my Notion database with Theo? Or would I still have to export every database subpage?
@stephanie_leung Thank you so much for the kind words and great question, Stephanie! π
Currently, you would need to export the subpages - but Notion integration is actually in our top 5 priorities! We've heard this pain point from several users and are working on a seamless Notion integration that would handle subpages automatically.
Would love to keep you updated on this - we're planning to roll it out soon.
In the meantime, is there a specific use case you're working on? Happy to suggest some workarounds or add your specific requirements to our integration roadmap!
@ted_huffman2 Thanks ted for the question!
At this point, it's mostly about qualitative strategic data, so pitch decks, brand guidelines, business plans, business model canvas etc.
What kind of info do you see as the one needed to feed from spreadsheets/CSV/XLS and it would be beneficial for strategic ideation and problem solving?
@mkotsollaris
Thank you for the question, Menelaos!
From what I see, Glean uses RAG to connect and search across all your documents, which is great for enterprise search and workflows. THEO takes a different approach - we focus specifically on business context (company, product, strategy, positioning, audience) and consolidate this information into one structured, contextualized document.
This consolidated format can actually be used within tools like Glean. The key difference is that instead of having AI parse through multiple documents and interpret relationships, we provide one pre-structured source where strategic connections are already mapped out. This reduces the chance of AI misunderstanding important business nuances.
P.S. Actually I asked my context-aware assistant to explain the differences :D
@kirleshkevich Thank you for the great question, Kir!
Unlike Claude Projects, customGPT or NotebookLM which are AI assistants themselves, THEO works as an enhancement layer for those tools.
In fact, our structured output can be used directly in these tools - while raw document uploads often lead to misunderstandings of strategic relationships, our consolidated format ensures the AI grasps the full context and connections in your business information.
Think of it like this: uploading multiple documents is like giving AI puzzle pieces to figure out; THEO provides a structured format where AI can spend less time making sense of your business context and more time on your actual task.
@sacha_dumay
Thanks! While most solutions let AI search through multiple documents, we consolidate and structure your business context (strategy, product, positioning) into one AI-ready format.
Like giving AI a clear picture instead of puzzle pieces - especially valuable for complex business models where accuracy matters.
I just tried THEO out! quite good I must say :) and being able to work with the output anywhere I want is a big plus too! It was easy to use and the process is guided too, which meant I could just jump in an experiment without feeling overwhelmed.
@john_bass Thank you so much, John!
Really happy to hear you found it easy to get started - that's exactly what we aimed for with the guided process. π
And you nailed one of our core principles - the structured output should work with any AI tool you prefer. Would love to hear which use cases you're experimenting with!
Wow, THEO looks like a game-changer for businesses! π Congrats to the team on this impressive launch!
How will you use THEO to supercharge your operations and AI interactions?
@ihuzaifashoukat
Thank you for the kind words! π
We're using THEO ourselves primarily for strategic tasks - competitor analysis, funding applications, and complex stakeholder communications. It's amazing how much time you save when AI truly understands your business context!
@sahithkrishna_an
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing your feedback once you try it out. Let us know which strategic use cases you're most interested in! π
