@elijah_dippenaar Thank you! We know how hard it is to align personal preferences with healthy companies without an advisor. We are doing lots of computing and fundamental analysis under the hood, and we plan to have a subscription based plan for more advanced insights and tools. Thank you for the support!

You are only focusing on US stock market for now ?
Harun Đulić
@mikedane7 Correct, US stocks are available now, but we plan to include other markets soon. Are there any particular markets you would like to see? Thanks!

@kareem_sabri Thank you Kareem! Currently, we source our financial data from a few sources: 1. We have some proprietary scripts that analyse SEC filings for the companies using NLP, which helps us classify companies through themes/topics. We will scale this in the future, bringing much more themes to invest in such as "Smart Cities", "Curing Cancer", "Supporting Entrepreneurship" etc. So that people can invest in things they believe will grow in the future. 2. We use IEX for the standard financial data 3. Based on financial data we are able to calculate some metrics on our side. For example Piotroski Score which is highly used in fundamental analysis which indicates how much a certain company is "healthy", or Altman Z Score, which tells how likely a certain company is to go bankrupt in 2 years. 4. For halal companies we use AAOIFI standard. AAOIFI standard state that in order halal companies include: - Companies with a total debt to market value of equity (12 month average) < 33% - Companies with account receivables to market value of equity (12 month average)< 49% - Cash + interest-bearing securities to market value of equity (12 month average) < 33% - Companies with non-Halal income greater than 5% - Pork and other non-halal food products - Alcohol beverages - Interest-based financial institution - Entertainment - Arms and defence - Tobacco We have tools and data partners that help us have this data so we can analyse it, and in the future we aim to scale this to more companies as well. For the frequency of stock prices updates - we cache overall stock prices for each day, and when the stock is clicked on, we fetch the latest price for it from Financial Modeling Prep and IEX for the graph. Thank you very much for the great questions and your interest in Thematic!
