Perhaps the worst recording platform I have used. Do not waste your time using this subpar product. Upload speeds are abysmal and have resulted in the loss of both host and guest audio and video recordings. Just use Riverside, they are by far the superior product.
Was great until they partnered. The platform is sloppy, and confusing since they merged with Descript. The 2 platforms are not integrated well. Trying to get help is a nightmare since support doesn't know how to read an email and reply to the actual question. There is no place to cancel a subscription either. Been a member of Squad Cast since 2020 and have many hours that I haven't used for recording, essentially I am saying the banked hours are not worth it. So frustrated with the lack of customer support and user experience with the product that I am leaving.
New to the product used it for a total of 3 sessions so far.
On the 3rd session it failed to record one of the participants, I have yet to figure out why.
And so far SquadCast Support has interacted with me like a AI bot and not answered my simple questions like where is the recording? and why did this occur?
The missing audio participant shows up on he merged cloud audio/video file with the other people in the podcast just fine....
Support has been subpar, just keep sending me white papers on how to record in Squadcast, never just having a conversation with me to figure this out.
I need to why this occurred if I am to continue to use the product.
