👋 Hey everyone (especially makers of the community), it's been already more than a year ago since I started my journey as a full-time maker. The openness and the helpful members of the maker community helped me to take the step and leave behind my 9 to 5. With this report, I'd like to give back to this community. A few interesting things we learned from the results: 🏠 Home is the most popular place for makers to deep dive into their ideas 🛠️ 50% of makers spend less than 3 months building an MVP ready to launch 🔗 Web-based apps are the most popular (89.4%) product type among makers. 😣 When asked about what is the hardest task, out of all, 30.7% of makers answered that it’s growing their audience, and 25.7% said it’s finding customers. 🦄 About 15% of makers would like to build a unicorn company.
